I'm glad I'm rewatching season 1 with your watch along. I don't remember this episode at all. I remember a little bit of the detective investigating into his brother, but I don't remember the main character working at a car company and going on strike. That does get mentioned again in season 2. I don't remember what happened to the doctor, etc. I'm starting to wonder if I skipped an episode lol

There was also Nat's (understandable) confusion in that it seemed up until that point that the brother had gone missing only very recently. He was only a week late on his rent at the cyberdorm. I'm just assumed that after he won and got filthy rich, he was kept the dorm room paid up as a front so that nobody knew anything had changed, while he was off secretly being rich and having fun.

Great reaction Nat! In the 2nd episode we hear Gi-hun talk about someone dying on the day/day before his daughter was born when him and his ex were talking about him being a bad father. So here we get a look from his perspective and see he was telling the truth and that's why he wasn't there for his daughters birth. Also I was confused about the brother 2015 thing too but I think we can assume (but not sure) he won in 2015, went back into 'the real world' and didn't tell anyone/change much about his life, and just recently went missing.

Great to see Koda today. I think even he was shielding his eyes 😊 You just can't pigeonhole this show. Every scene takes a different turn and has you on edge. I loved the moment between 456 and 101, playing mind games with him. It's funny, I can't remember my own mobile number, but I can remember all the characters numbers ha ha Looking forward with trepidation to see where we go next episode.
