Avatar, The Way of Water is way too long at three hours but it picks up at the halfway mark. I had to look up Kate Winslet. I didn't recognize her at all in what was a major role. With so many characters, it's a struggle to figure out who's who. But Cameron knows how to build a movie. You'll see a lot of references to past Cameron films besides the first Avatar, particularly Titanic. CGI takes a little getting used to, but then it becomes almost normal.

I didn't really like the third one too much. 1 and 2 always knew how to keep the action tight, interesting and fast-paced. The third one just dragged the fight scenes out far too long which just made them a boring mess to look at

The JW movies progressively got worse to me, though I haven’t seen 4 yet. And not to say 3 is bad but it’s just ok. Hoping someday we will get to Mission Impossible movies which for the most part progressively just get better with each movie. Might as well finish out JW here in preparation for 4, but I voted for another movie. It does seem older movies have a hard time beating out newer ones in most of your polls.
