So you started this trying make take a make a false claim that The boys was parodying Dr Strange, then when I called you on it became all about the plight of the VFX artists (which Marvel has already addressed by reducing their film and Disney+ schedules). but I'm the weird one here. If you don't want to be called a hater then be honest instead just trying to find things to bash Marvel about. I'm not saying they're perfect by any means but they're also not as bad as people like you make them out to be.

I don't read screenrant or whatever else you consume that has snappy nicknames for things. I really have no clue what you are talking about. I don't give a shit about the MCU like you dude...I don't like...consume media about it and the upcoming properties constantly. I don't remember all of them, there are like 50 movies/shows at this point. Are you aware of that? That I don't watch and read the same things that you do? WTF are you talking about ahahahaha Stop projecting whatever your personal online political problems are onto me, I literally do not care about that, unless we are talking about the politics of fair treatment of workers for VFX artists, which you just didn't acknowledge by the way. My whole point is that they are making so many of these things that it is diluting the quality and meaning and leading to mess after mess and decreased attention. And people are commenting on the increasingly rushed VFX, which is because of how many they are trying to make at once and making VFX houses bid lower and lower and work longer and longer to get the job. They need to back off the number of things they're forcing at once, let the creativity breathe and pay their employees fairly at all levels. That's not an uncommon opinion dude. Stop being weird.

Wow, struck a nerve huh? Lol, I read the Boys Comic series, I know what they were doing in the comics and I know what they're doing in the show. But that doesn't mean I just blindly accept every criticism that they do. Really though I was just commenting on your trying to tie Charlize Theron's Boys cameo to Dr. Strange. Bad news, the Boys showrunner said it's just a coincidence. But anything to find a reason to bash Marvel, right? The truth is various clickbait websites (like ScreenRunts) and right-wing anti-woke fearmongers both decided it was time to start bashing Marvel to get those all-important clicks and a bunch of sheep have just gone along with it. I am completely willing to discuss the merits individual phase 4 MCU project, in fact I think Love & Thunder was trash, but when someone blanket rejects Phase 4 as all bad or even all meh, I know they're just following the trend and being a hater, and so are not worth listening to. Fortunately, I've noticed lately that some people are starting to buck the trend. I watched a YT video recently by about all the good things in Phase 4 and reading the comments I expected it to be mostly attacks, but it turns out the comments were about 97% positive, agreeing that there many good things in phase 4. But unlike many of the haters, and like myself, most people were also honest about the things in phase 4 that they didn't like. But many of these commenters (like myself) also mentioned that they're sick of the constant bashing and how it's mostly just people trying to be trendy. The truth is Phase 4 was neither all bad or all good, just like most things in entertainment.

Brother, idk how or why you're watching The Boys if you get upset by criticism towards superhero stories and how insanely commercialized they are. That's the entire point of that scene: they are parodying Endgame, and they weren't being subtle about it. And hey, I like those movies, for what they are. They're fun, in the same way most of Star Wars is fun. But you are not doing yourself any favors by being so sensitive at the mere mention of how tired, cliche, manufactured, and corporate those movies can be, especially lately. And as a 3d artist who personally knows VFX artists who have been abused by the Marvel crunch, please know that I will never care about your viewpoint, because it's ignorant and incurious. I've literally seen people hospitalize themselves from stress and overwork because of the insane corporate greed taking place there. If you don't feel like examining what this show is actually trying to say and instead want to focus on psycho Homelander and all the sex/gore, be my guest, but I'm not gonna dumb down my comments for you. And please, realize the irony in how pathetic you look comparing me to others when you're simping for Disney Marvel in response to tepid criticism. It's embarrassing.

Yay excited to get another season in the boys with you Nat. I watched it when it released but except for a dew points and some basic plots I don't recall much.the special effects team does like to go all out on the realistic gore. I think they were trying to challenge the walking dead's effects team :)

I think Butcher misses Huey more than he dislikes taking orders from him. That's his surrogate little brother afterall. And ohhh Huey, Huey, Huey... things couldn't go smooth for him for too long. And yeah, this show is really good at making you like a character right before they reveal that they're evil.
