I've been a patron of Natalie's for 3 years running, and the current line-up is making me think about what to do. So I don't really blame people for wanting to bail if there's nothing for them to watch. And as far as them commenting on it goes, why shouldn't they - everyone else does. Especially the never-ending bitching about Marvel.

I'm out too. No interest in the cartoons, when there's so much quality live action to watch that I'll never see it all. And Ted Lasso also doesn't sound like my cup of tea. Taking a break seems the more rational option compared to whining about things. Maybe I'll take the chance to Patreon up for one of the other reactors I normally only follow on YT.

Yep, starting with Season 2 of Daredevil all the Netflix shows really felt like they had 2-3 too many episodes for the story they were trying to tell. Personally I'm hoping she skips the rest of the shows, does DD S3 and calls it a day on Marvel Netflix.

I agree with Bishey. The Punisher seasons were OK... but most of it was filler. Nothing Natalie needs to react to. Same with She-Hulk, Defenders and Ms. Marvel. There are so many other, better series out there to take up Top Nugget's time.

Punisher absolutely doesn't top Daredevil. In fact, the character of Punisher is written better in Daredevil than it's own show.

^This. The Punisher is the only Netflix Marvel series to top Daredevil. It’s phenomenal. The writing, direction, and above all the acting (especially from Jon Bernthal) is absolutely riveting.

I sincerely doubt it, but I watched She Hulk and while I didn't hate it like a lot of people did, it's definitely skippable. Also definitely starting to get "Marvel Fatigue" in that I would be fine if, after DD is done, Nat watched anything besides Superhero content for the remainder of the summer...

It takes place 70 years after the original show. It features some original characters as people in their 80s. However, most of the characters are new and/or descendants. As long as you're familiar with the setting and the characters of the original, I think you'll be fine. They do a pretty good job of describing "Hey here's this new place and the world you knew has evolved."

I get that, and that's reasonable. Not everyone is going to enjoy the same stuff, and that's fine. My comment is just directed at those who inevitably will hop in the comments when they see it's anything animated, and bitch about how 'dumb' it is, or just for kids etc etc... I've never been one to be really big into animated stuff, but I don't dislike it just because it's animated. There are a lot of people who wont give anything a shot just because they can't break their mind away from just thinking of it as a "cartoon". And it's heartbreaking really, because there are some really really great things out there that people miss out on just because they deem it 'just for kids'. Some of the best story telling I've seen in the past twenty years has been in Animation and Video Games. Just look at Last of Us as an example. That show never would have been (or if it was, it would have been giving a drastically shitty budget) 15 years ago

And to any of those who are gonna bitch in the comments about "lame animation blah blah blah" I'm an almost 40 year old Iraq combat veteran born and raised in the deep backwoods of Texas, and there ain't a damn thing wrong in the world with animated shows or films! Some of them I'd stack their story and direction up against anything more 'mainstream hollywood'. So before some of y'all 'men' go whining about it, just shush it now for my sake

It would be tough to know a lot of things, some of the characters and their connections or inside jokes, but you don't HAVE to I don't think. You might be a little lost at times, but Nat may make connections and mention things so you wouldn't be as lost. Or maybe watch Avatar recaps on youtube or something?

I mean the story isn't directly connected but you are gonna miss a lot of powerful or cool moments that will have zero impact on you. Like there are so many callbacks to the avatar show with references and characters from avatar that are very old now and have kids that we get to meet which makes it feel so special and wholesome. Like yeah the story is still good and takes on a different direction but the quality of your enjoyment will be significantly impacted without watching Avatar. Plus Avatar is such a great show I highly doubt you will regret bingeing it. It is 100% worth it. And by the time you finish bingeing it, Nat will most likely have released most of her Korra reactions so you'll be able to binge all that without having to wait week by week. It's a win win lol.

Happy marvel Monday nat it was nice to finally make a stream and fun was had by all .
