Nat can you do another apps show like Bad Sisters? It’s a short 1 season series. Hysterical but with a sinister spin. 5 Irish sisters. It’s so good. Pretty please at least for Patreon. I know I’m not your popular demographic. I don’t watch most of the shows you’ve watched lately but I came back to patreon because of your reacting to TED LASSO! Thank you but there’s more non Appletv+ Shrinking is new & 1st season is out. Very funny but with serious content. It’s written by 2 Ted Lasso writers including Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent). It stars Jason Segal, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams & the hysterical Christa Miller Severance is weird but compelling and I can’t wait for s2. Foundation is an Isaac Asimov adaptation. Sci-fi & interesting. Definitely looking forward to s2 at the end of summer/fall Sorry it’s longer than I expected but they’re all so good ✌️💙

I'd like to have eventually seen all three, but John Wick 4 is just wildly entertaining. If you have any appreciation for action films at all it's just a smorgasbord of pure fun. I liked both Ant Man movies so far so I'll check out the third one for sure. I've heard good things about the Mario movie, and I'm squarely in the age demographic for it; I grew up playing Mario games on NES and SNES and N64.

Reading the comments and remembering how trendy it is to be a Marvel-hater these days. How incredibly original. Not even vaguely interested in Mario - really seems like something for 90s kids and 90% built on nostalgia. And personally I didn't enjoy JW4 as much as the previous chapters.

JW4 has some nice call backs to classic movies you may or may not know. It also has some great cinematography. Ant man sets up the next big baddy. It’s decent but nothing outside of a normal MCU movie. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is much better. As for SMB unless you played a lot of NES games it won’t be as funny.

Other than Thor L&T (which wasn't mid, it was was BAD) I'd rather watch anything out of that list than another session of John Wick kills even more people this time! I haven't seen JW4 and can't make my self care enough to see if I can stream it for free anywhere.

Disagree. Most of the past few Marvel movies (Eternals, Strange, Antman, Thor, Black Panther, Quantum, etc) were all, truly, mid af. I enjoyed Spiderman No Way from home and GotG 3 A LOT. Marvel movies really were bad for a while, but I'd be happy to watch more good superhero movies. John Wick may be a pure action series, but each movie is actually fun and entertaining compared to all the subpar marvel movies lately.

I'm fine with any 3... to be honest, I wasn't that impressed with Quantumania, and JW4 is slowly headed the way of the F&F franchise: simply trying to top the action in previous films to the point where the set pieces just get a little too ridiculous to for my liking.

All three are great, however, Ant-man would be a great choice only b/c it will Segue to IMO the best movie so far in 2023 Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (Although, Across the Spider Verse is a very close 2nd, I think?) Surprisingly, JW4 was better than I expected so not surprised its winning RN!

I personally really enjoyed this John Wick. Certainly the best since number 1 in my eyes. The other movies I were fun but didn't have anything that grabbed me. Regardless of what comes out on top I'll be looking forward to the reaction!

Watching John wick is exhausting though. 2.5hrs of continuous action for a character who has no personality and whose justification for revenge doesn’t excuse killing 450 people across 4 movies… marvel certainly used to be more consistent but they’ve actually experimented with more interesting directors recently and weirder diverse characters I’d like to see crossover and evolve. I get it’s lost momentum, but what’s the alternative? It will be 5yra before DC gets as accumulatively good and it still has the baggage of many terrible movies. Do you want marvel to start again from scratch??

Honestly none of these. Ant-Man 3 was awful. CGI vomit. John Wick 4 has so many contrivances. They turned everything that made the first one good up to the max and not in a good way. Cool techno scene in part 1? Now every other scene is a cool techno scene. The choreography is exhausting to watch and he survives a ridiculous amount of damage. One scene in particular he's throwing himself down stairs like he enjoys it. Just because it's dangerous doesn't make a stunt good. Keanu is still delightful to watch. All the music is still bad.
