Nat I love u but I kinda need u to let up a little bit I get that some characters can be frustrating but u have like 0% for a character who’s not exactly what u think they should be. If they’re just even a little off kilter u can’t stand them and u make EVERY scene they’re in negative or like they’re the worst person ever. Varrik, bumi, Eska and desna. I just ask that u keep more of an open mind with characters and just know it’s a kid show and their antics are supposed to be over the top yk just have fun with it cuz it doesn’t really feel like u really like the show sometimes cuz hate most of the Characters

You’re right you aren’t taking into account how hard scheduling and recording and editing is. She’s said multiple times she has to record stuff weeks in advance sometimes if she knows she’s going to be busy. Would it be nice if two-parters were together? Yes. But you really can’t be that picky

I understand that as a consumer I'm not taking into account how difficult scheduling is for editing and non work matters around these reactions but I'd appreciate it a lot if you put the two part episodes together from now on, you know treat them as 1 episode like you did for avatar. I should probably mention that I'm partial to avatar content and Star Wars stuff over most of your movie reactions so maybe I'm more picky than the average patron.

Yeah... When I rewatched Korra in 2020, her voice immediately sounded familiar but I couldn't place it. It drove me crazy because I knew that I had heard it before, I just didn't know where. And it was the way she said certain words... Her tone of voice on certain words that made me go "wait a second...". Then I looked it up and went "No way!!!!" 😂

I definitely would love multiple episodes a day, but if not, at the very least, episodes 7 and 8 absolutely need to be watched together; not doing so would be like waiting a week between watching Sozin's Comet Part 3 and Part 4.

Plus, he was in a tough position. He had his Avatar responsibilities... And imagine how happy he was when his third child was finally an Airbender. He was no longer the last one... So I mean, it is understandable to a point. Simply because of who he was, Tenzin required extra attention. Now, I still don't like the implication that Aang and Katara never took vacations with their kids (although Republic City must've taken up a lot of their time) but the fact is that a lot of that is unaddressed by the writers. We simply don't know what their adulthood and marriage and family life was like, because they didn't address it...other than Bumi was born when Katara was 24. Hopefully they will address some of it in the 2025 movie, But then again, maybe they won't... Because that apparently takes place when they are young adults, and perhaps only Bumi will make an appearance as a baby or something. But also, it's worth noting that children of immigrant parents have also chimed in and said that the whole "pass on the culture to one kid" thing is a common practice. I don't think it was bad parenting... It's just the way things worked out.

I remember a lot of people got upset at the idea that Aang wasn’t a perfect parent, but parenting is tough! It’s not like he was abusive, his biggest crime apparently was how he divided his attention, which is pretty understandable, especially since it gives us the interesting part - how that affected the relationships between his kids I love the 3-sibling-family dynamic between Kya, Bumi, and Tenzin bc it’s pretty realistic and accurate 😅 every time they drag each other in this episode there’s a bit of truth in there that you can’t deny 👀😂

I would suggest definitely either doing one episode next week, 3 episodes, or watching episodes 7 & 8 in one sitting when you get to them. Because 7 & 8 are also a 2 parter and it is a really bad one to split between weeks. Trust me when I say everyone would prefer if you didn't split them apart

Happy Tuesday Nat. Time to find out why the fleets arrived 😬 Another cool episode today. I loved the family issues of Korra and Tensin being played out in parallel. I can't wait to see what happens next. I enjoy a good cliff-hanger and I don't mind waiting for the continuation. Thanks for another great reaction today Nat 💛
