The funny thing is that Homelander's speech in the last scene is parallel to Bush's speech post 9/11 in Ground Zero.

In fairness though, we kiwis use "cunt" fairly often as well :D We use it a little differently to most of the world though sometimes. For example, if we admire someone, we might call them a "good cunt" :D

It's funny that you mention Australians using the term "cunt" considering that neither Billy Butcher nor Karl Urban are Australian. Butcher is from England and Urban is from New Zealand. Anthony Starr, who plays Homeland is also from New Zealand, so the leaders on the two sides of the conflict in this show are both played by Kiwis.

Hey Nat! Just fyi, some characters from The Boys comics aren't in the show & vice-versa. For reference this is The Seven lineup for the show (I think Transluscent replaced someone in the comics): 1) Homelander 2) Queen Maeve 3) A-Train 4) Black Noir 5) The Deep 6) Translucent [in the show] 7) Lamplighter, replaced by Starlight

I'd say Nat CLEARLY forgot about the dolphin part. Also, Homelander's speech at the beach was clearly written to parallel George W. Bush's speech at ground zero right after 9/11. Keep up the fun reactions, Nat!

Was the release at 05:08GMT a mistake? 12:01 – the character Billy Butcher is English (ex-SAS/Royal Marine and hence hard as nails), the actor Karl Urban is New Zealander. So not Australian at all.
