I'm of the opinion that Thaddeus is becoming a super mutant, not a ghoul. Super mutants are made by exposure to the forced evolutionary virus (FEV) and have rapid regeneration. Ghouls are made through long term radiation exposure and don't regenerate. Add in that the snake oil salesman said in an earlier ep that he was a scientist and he immediately recognized the fusion core, and it seems to me that he was probably former Enclave, where they were experimenting with super mutants in ep 2 I believe.

I totally disagree. The whole fakeout with the sword and banishment was my favorite scene of the entire season! Complete subversion of expectations. They TOTALLY could have written it so that they were going to execute her and Maximus comes to save the day in a heroic arc.... but, no..... Banishment. OH, and this ceremonial rope-cutting sword needs sharpened... and TWO WEEKS SUPPLIES... of course we will have someone help you carry them. That was just funny as hell.

This is so completely off topic, but there’s only 1 reactor channel that has done all of the show Ozark… and that is such a damn travesty. I wanna see more people hate wendy god dammit Also great reaction love this show

I'm glad that Natalie enjoyed this episode... the Vault 4 campiness (cringe) was too much for me, especially the "We sentence you to die... by banishment" fakeout with the dull sword. Lucy admitted that she threw ACID in a guy's face and she was "punished" by being politely asked to leave with a gift basket. And then Maximus stole the vault's fusion core and trashed the place, and there were no consequences. There's campiness and then there's contrivance; this was the latter. As usual, the best parts of the episode were Cooper's flashbacks and Norman's investigation about Vault 31, because the Vault-Tec mystery is the most compelling aspect of the show (and the games!) I originally binged the Fallout series in two four-episode sessions, and I forgot that the revelations about Vault 31 and Vault-Tec all happened in the last episode. I can't wait for Natalie to watch the finale!

Just to be clear, Norm was not chatting with Betty or Stephanie on the computer. He's typing to someone in Vault 31. Whoever he's chatting with on the computer think's Norm is Betty, because Norm is using Betty's computer.

I loved this episode! A couple quick notes: Norm didn’t send a message to Stephanie but to the overseer of vault 31. And I think the name of old fashioned storage you were thinking of is a floppy disc.

I love the fact that the only times we hear the Fallout theme is when the NCR is represented (in the classroom in episode 6, and the start of this when Erik Estrada is wearing the NCR uniform). I'm really hoping that's a sign that the NCR is going to play a real role in season two.
