I like that Bolin is having something else to do with verick I find them funny together and mako is right but no one else knows what to do , Mako isn't doign anything about it or helping to strategize with anyone else

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned in your comments, but there is this theory that the Avatar's true love looks like their next incarnation. If you go back to look at Roku's love, she looks like Aang. And Korra looks like a young Katara. I'm not sure this has ever been confirmed but I love to think about whoever Korra ends up with is like a sneak peek at how the next avatar will look.

Maybe jumping a little too far ahead but episodes 7 and 8 are standout episodes for this season. For one thing, they mark the return of Studio Mir and Team Mir makes their presence known right from the jump.

Season 2 is the weakest season. The last couple seasons are at least as good as season 1 and frankly, I would put season 3 up against any season of ATLA. Season 3 is really good.

Hey Natalie! Just a heads up that episodes 7 and 8 are two-parters that I would really encourage you to watch all in one go, or at least with minimum time apart, for the best viewing experience :)

I really miss the subtle and long character arcs of TLA. Korra angry, Bolin naive, and Mako rigid (rightly so in this case) is a lot less compelling, especially when it keeps happening. The show isn’t terrible but I hope the writing gets better.

I also do get a lot of Korra's anger in this episode. The season begins with her upset at her father and mentor for not being honest with her, only for her to turn to another mentor who is likewise not honest with her. That said, this episode does also show how much she does need to grow.
