I'm a bit late to the party but Hitchhikers would be fantastic

Britt Korsman

APES IS STRONG !!! 😜

Ed Green

There is if people don't know the former exists.

Ed Green

The worst movie I've ever seen that was based on a beloved sci-fi/fantasy novel is The Seeker: The Dark is Rising. Completely butchered a book I've loved since age 7 and am currently rereading because it's set between Midwinter's Eve and Twelfth Night.

Ryan Cornett

They are trying to do sequel as they had planned for battle angel, don’t know how far along they are.

Anonymous Groucho

I may have said this before, but I watched the Hitchhikers Guide movie in a theater. And at the end of it, a young girl stood up, turned to her group and announced "This is the WORST movie I've EVER seen!" If she were older, there would have been veins. Anyway, she needed to see more movies, but that was definitely not the best way to experience Hitchhiker's.

Michael Butler

Dude, you can just say the movie is lame. It is. No need to announce you were around for the BBC series.

Mastervodo

Also +1 on Alita Battle Angel! We have been mentioning it for a very long time, but has never been on a poll. Anyone else think that is a travesty? Such a great one-off movie!

Ryan Cornett

Long time since I have seen Hitchhikers Guide. I would suggest Alita: Battle Angel.

Eric Janssen

I assume you mean the lame 00’s Disney ā€œHitchhiker’s Guideā€, not the Douglas Adams text-faithful 80’s BBC one on a Classic Doctor Who budget?

Danishprince

Hi Johannes, yeah unfortunately the LOTR reactions are no longer available here on the Patreon but if you head over to the Discord server and contact the moderator Calo he'll be able to send you the local files :)

Johannes CT

That sucks. Oh well. Thanks for the answers anyway

Essero Eson

Unfortunately the original full length reactions were destroyed along with the One Ring. Part of her channel's growing pains in the early days.

Daniel McGuinness

I seem to remember her saying the original recordings got corrupted so she can’t upload them here again 😭 I was too late for the full reaction too Maybe we’ll get some rewatch for a channel anniversary in the future or somethingšŸ˜…

Baggie Mark

Hi Johannes CT, If I remember correctly the Lord of The Rings full length reactions were not uploaded to Patreon, I would love to see these as well..

Johannes CT

Does anybody know where I can find her Lotr reactions?

Mastervodo

APES APES APES APES APES!

TokyoLopez

Caesar is home

TokyoLopez

make sure the dawn of the planet of the apes has subtitles for the apes when they communicate, some copies don’t have them, but i’m sure whatever you steam it on will have them, just as a precaution

Slick447

Moisty Justice

APES TOGETHER STRONG!!

Colter

I voted for apes but I really do hope you react to Hitchhikers Guide soon too because that’s one of my favorites

jamie jones

There’s no halloween movies on the poll though. Theres no rule that all horror/thrillers must be watched in October.

Jason Dolan

Nat watch Apes!!!

Mastervodo

So long and thanks for a ll the fish.

Troy B.

I second the Elijah Wood "Dirk Gently" show. It was bizarre and refreshingly untethered from most of the source material but still felt like something Adams could have written.

Troy B.

I can't bring myself to sit through that iteration of Hitchhiker's Guide again. I've loved every form of it, radio show, book, text adventure, TV show, but... the movie missed SO much of the tone and sharpness of its predecessors. It was like it was made by a Nutri-Matic machine, to give the viewer something almost, but not quite entirely unlike British humor.

Ed Green

And yet it's the only one of the five I'd never heard of until right now

Nicholas Sulikowski

I'm picking Hitchhiker's Guide because I never even thought it would be on a poll, let alone possibly watched. Good movie, but not one I expected to come up. (Though the original radio series, books, TV show, and text based game are better.) šŸ˜€

Larry the Good

I suggested Hitchhiker's Guide because it's light and fluffy. But if u want intense see Nope

Jacob King

I feel like Final Destination is the out of place one. I voted for hitchhikers because it’s a wonderful movie and might have a chance but Nope and 28 Days are straight up masterpieces. I guess the ape fans are going to ape.

Nick James

Want to rewatch Nope so bad!

JD Shick

Yep we gotta see the Apes trilogy through, too good to ignore!

Anthony Curione

lol

Anthony Curione

Nat keep putting Hitchhikers guide in the polls. I need you to see this film

Simon Bauer

Ape make nat cry

Troymk1

I’m actually a massive Douglas Adams fan. If anyone is interested in Hitchhikers if you can find the original BBC radio play it’s superior to all subsequent media IMHO Also the Dirk Gently series with Elijah Wood was surprisingly good !

Adam Doyle

Let's get the Final Destination series started! They will be a fun change to the holiday usuals (or 28 Days Later). And while the book was good, the Hitchhiker's movie was just okay in parts and dragged in others. I just think that one can wait.

jamie jones

A comedy in space is sci fi my friend.

Lemuel Daher

Is this a serious question? Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is one of the best blockbusters of the 2010s.

jamie jones

Cause dawn is way better. Pretty simple answer

calum1

Cause planet of the apes trilogy is goated and dawn is the best one

Essero Eson

Agreed, none of these qualify as Sci-Fi except, maybe Planet of the Apes. And then only because it deals with the dangers of genetic manipulation. Hitchhikers is a comedy in space and the last three are all horror/thrillers with no science components that I am aware of.

dooyaunastan

HOW are both HGTTG and 28 Days Later losing to fucking dawn of the planet apes lmao

Danishprince

28 Days Later is one of the best zombie movies imo but always voting for the Apes!

Andre

28 days and Nope are greattt but gotta finish apes movies first

The Dingo

Hitchhiker is sci-fi - it's just a comedy. not really out of place. The others are straight sci-fi and 3 are horror sci-fi

JD Sharpe

It’s always Monkey Time somewhere

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I'm not big on the Final Destination movies, they're okay, but all the rest are must sees in my opinion. I gotta go Hitchhiker's Guide though, haven't seen any reactions to that gem.

Harry Reece

Technically they’re not Zombies, infected. So that would make it Sciene šŸ˜‰

MJ Eid

I literally picked 28 days cause I know how much nat loves that genre of movie.

Daniel McGuinness

Final Destination and 28 Days Later are more horror than sci-fi, both great movies tho! That being said, it’s monkey time 🐵

Jason Gillman

I voted for Rise to get to Dawn so I’ll vote for it but there’s some good stuff in here that I hope doesn’t disappear forever. Although I’m disappointed Robocop isn’t in this sci fi poll but I know it had no chance of beating Dawn.

Tony Mandler

I don't vote for horror I was just asking why is there a horror movie on a poll at Christmas time.

jamie jones

So vote for a non horror? I dont see your dilemma

jamie jones

Id vote 28 days, but dawn is here and thats the reason i voted for rise

Rey

Sci fi? Not that im complaining but 3 are more horror than sci fi, thrilled were gonna get more apes before the new year tho!

nitind

Hitchhiker is out of place, which is why it's perfect. Plus, people seem to like that Sam Rockwell guy.

Josh Heinen

For half a second, I thought "Nope" meant "none of these movies." Guess I'm not fully awake yet.šŸ˜†

Berry

I would like one ticket for the Ape-express please

Nizawach

I hope to see Final Destination in the next Natmares poll, but it's not really sci-fi.

FogdogKdog

Is 28 Days Later considered a sci-fi? It's a zombie flick and I thought Nat hated zombies...

Lucaco26

Apes together strong

adrianR31

Hitchhikers guide is important. I hope you get around to it eventually. Nope is also incredible. 28 days later is great but save it for Halloween. Planet of the apes is fine you should finish the series now that you started it.

Mike Hell

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon because having A Natmare Before Christmas sounds like so much fun! Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and then 28 Days Later! Festive and Shocking! Because who is expecting to see a young Cillian Murphy's dangling participle right before Christmas, am I right?

Siti Dee

Of course the one i would love for you to react is the most least voted 😭

Zachary Dulaney

All are amazing choices but I'd go with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes or 28 Weeks Later and have us a Natemare Before Christmas!

Vince Ledezma

Gotta keep watching planet of the apes movies!

Tentomushi

Again so many great choices, but i have to go with apes!

RationallySassy

All great choices in their own way. Tough one!

Walter Lopez

Yup... You know what you have to do Nat. You have to finish the Apes Trilogy now

UngawdlyJish

Hitchhiker's Guide, easy. I really don't see all the fuss about these Planet of the Apes movies.

JD Sharpe

Surprised to see hitchhikers guide get so many votes, it’s such a forgotten nothing of a movie

John Hoffler Jr.

I agree… I think you save 28 Days Later for Natmares

I have voted but yet again I feel I will not get the one I would like but I won’t be mad if planet of the apes gets it either

Tony Mandler

That's fine but we just came off of Natmares and I would just like anything else but horror. I am not a horror fan and want to see something else.

Chris Henderson

Maybe she’s seen a good amount Christmas movies.

Tony Mandler

It's Christmas time why is a horror movie on here 28 Days Later?

Eric Wallace

As much as I want to see you're panicked reaction to 28 days later, got to Keep the Apes train rolling

Julio Carranza

Final Destination is a option now and not in Natmares?

Skizane

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was really good when I saw it some years ago. Wouldn't mind seeing Hitchhiker either, never got around to seeing that, but my vote is for Apes because Nat just saw 'Rise' so it's fresh in her mind and I think she'll really enjoy 'Dawn'.

Michael McNeill

Torn between keeping the Apes train rolling or having a Natmare Before Christmas.

Darryl Low

Happy Wednesday Nat. These are great movies, but going to vote to continue the Apes journey. Dawn is my favourite of the new trilogy, and would love to see your reaction to it. Have a great day Nat šŸ’›

Joel

Dawn then 28 Days is the only correct answer

PureGonzo

I’m so conflicted because I believe that the second and third Apes films are MILES better than the first one (primarily due to Matt Reeves directing them), but on the other hand, 28 Days Later is an absolute masterpiece crafted by the incomparable Danny Boyle. Here’s hoping you react to them both eventually :)

Aaron Davies

Dawn of apes , then 28 days , would make great reactions

Josh R

28 days later for the winnnnnnnnnn! Such a great movie and the sequel 28 weeks later is good too!

Edgard Rosas

Hitchhiker is an awesome film to watch, would recommend it even if it doesn’t win the poll.

Ben Wheeler

Don’t change horses in the middle of the stream! Planet of the Apes all the way!
