To clarify something that happened in the previous episode, the astronauts did not bring one of the squid virus things back to earth. The real astronaut had been taken over by one of the squid things and, also, one of the martians shapeshifted to look like him and took his place on the shuttle home. I don't know if one of these things directly caused the other or not, or what the order of them happening was, but I thought I should point it out because it confused me the first time I watched it too.

I forget how many great moments this episode has! Debbie’s speech to Nolan about how SHE was the one who taught him how to be a hero! And her doing the geography math of how long she has to investigate until he gets back, ugh! Queen 😮‍💨🫡 The big fight scene at the end also kinda does a good job at showing what each member brings to the team (when they actually work together and don’t get their ass beat) but those team-up combos in the second half of the fight 😮‍💨 they were working! Battle Beast is a legend in the comics. He's up there as one of the strongest in the entire Invincible comics universe. He's even stronger than Omni-Man. Machine Head bringing him to the fight was like bringing the final boss to fight a bunch of level 1 players looool.

Only 1 episode of Invincible this week? Dang it's really starting to get good, too. Getting to the end of the season does kind of feel like a slog when it's 1 episode a week (which I guess is how it was released, so maybe I'm just used to binging). Looking forward to more Band of Brothers and Leo this week 😊 Nat, your foreshadowing of what was going to happen to you gave me chills 😮 You'll never lose your wit Nat 😊 My mum always made sure I was on time or early for school ha ha 😄 I enjoyed this episode a lot more. Adding another character who was a lot more interesting and then pulling the rug from underneath you. Wow. Plus having Debbie finally getting some clues. I like how Mark is caught in the middle of his dad teaching him the excesses of super heroism, and his mum teaching him about humanity and how it's way more important.
