No kidding, if they really wanted to do Avatar justice you'd have to do it LOTR style and garner a multiple season deal off the bat and shoot everything back to back. Gordon Cormier shot S1 when he was 12, he's 14 now upon it's release, if it ever gets to S3 he'll well over 18 and we have no idea what kind of growth spurt he'll hit.

Good choice; this show is rough to say the least. Feel like is this world ever wants to return in live action, they just need to pick a fresh story with new characters. Trying to match the original is foolhardy.

As much as dislike the show I'm loving your reactions... confirms that I'm not going crazy when I see so many people loving it. I just found it incredibly hard to watch. And after the first few scenes I was really excited... but then it went down hill very fast.

Hi I just stumbled upon a Alan Tudyk show was on SyFy but now on Netflix. He plays an alien whose ship crashes on earth, and he is forced into becoming a small town doctor. And a lot of weird town folks with there own issues. Gives me Ted Lasso vibes. Also Nathen Fillion has a recurring voice role.

I really respect your decision! However I'd love to see you return to this show in the future, as there are moments that are good. And I think it's healthy for this show to get some reaction channels to give negative reviews on it, as it's really getting wayyy too overpraized if you ask me!

Even though this is a show I wasn’t watching, when you were reacting to Invincible and not 100% digging it, I told myself I’d rather she give up and watch something she enjoys than slog through a show just cuz I liked it. Glad you’re “keeping it real” (and glad you stuck with Invincible 😉)

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had an awesome weekend too. Avatar season finale time ha ha After watching the first 2, I think it's fine. It's neither bad nor great. It's just an alternate version of the story, in the same way that The Last of Us show was an alternate version of the game. The originals, having been seen first, will always be the definitive version for most people. Anyway, I'm going to watch this episode with you and then probably watch the rest of the season at some point. So much good stuff this week to look forward to Nat. Thank you. Really looking forward to Shogun 😊
