Yeah, I watched it. I appreciated that it's pretty self contained, but I did chuckle through a lot of it. There was one episode I thought the editing and premise was cool, but other than that, I really didn't connect to it. this is just false lmao. animation shows will win against other animated shows. i checked all the polls this year and barely any animated show has won a poll when put against live action polls. if you look at the poll of blue eyed samurai, invincible and the live action avatar in february, guess which one won. you guessed it, the live action one. invincible only won in a later poll where every other option was another animated show. look at another series poll in may. where fallout had more votes than x-men 97, blue eyed samurai, and vox combined. x-men 97 finally won a poll later on against some other live action shows but thats the only one. this honestly kinda proves my point even more because why is the only animated show to win a poll this year another Marvel tv show bruh.

The Legend of Vox Machina does everything the Dungeons and Dragons movie did, only better. The only "drawback" is that it's animated. I don't think it would be a stretch to say that Honor Among Thieves was influenced by TLOVM. The two works are tonally very similar and they've even said that Sophia Lillith's druid was heavily inspired by Vox's Keyleth.

Honestly, I mostly agree with you but it's silly to argue about that here, the majority of Nat's fans came because of her MCU/Star Wars reactions so of course that gets the most hits. Also I think a lot of her supporters skew younger, so they've probably never heard of The Wire or older HBO shows. I wish she'd check out shows like Severance or Sopranos or more "adult" shows. If Agatha wins, I probably won't watch it (maybe the first episode) but I don't begrudge the people that want to see it. They're all paying to be here, too.

I don't think there's anything particularly woke about AAA, other than having LGBTQ characters. I gave it my vote, because I saw it and liked it. Vox Machina is pretty good, too, though it also has gay characters, so I guess that's out. I don't know much about Squid Game or Peaky Blinders, but just going by the titles, the former sounds very hentai-forward and full of tentacle porn, which sounds the straightest. Peaky Blinders sounds like a Crying Game sitch where the main character has blinders on about someone's gender until a peekaboo happens. Cyberpunk has a very strong title, but Edgerunner that sounds like a tantric, bisexual woman looking to find love while managing the hazards of a patriarchal society. I'd steer clear of that one, because you know Soros funded that.

Marvel has been “woke” since the creation of The Fantastic Four. The X-Men evolved into a metaphor for those who are oppressed, later drawing strong parallels to the Civil Rights Movement. Even though this wasn’t Stan Lee’s original intention, he openly embraced the comparison in a 2000 interview. Additionally, the Legacy Virus story-line was a response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, written as an allegory several years after the epidemic. But we can’t expect anti-woke folks to know this, so they get a little upset when they're exposed to these facts. "Woke" has basically become a buzzword at this point. People are even calling the latest Superman teaser "woke." I mean, Superman’s an alien immigrant whose biggest rival is a capitalist CEO, Lex Luthor, who’s even held political office in the comics and animation. What’s more "woke" than that? There's even a whole comic where Superman takes on the KKK, showing how he's always been a symbol of fighting for the oppressed. In the real world, Superman helped expose the Klan and turn them into a punchline, all thanks to Stetson Kennedy, a human rights activist. Kennedy infiltrated the KKK and got in touch with the producers of the Superman radio show, leading to an episode that exposed Klan secrets and rituals. This is what Superman Smashes the Klan (2019 - 2020) is based on. It's one of the best Superman stories not just of recent years, but since the character was created. And guess what... People called Smashes the Klan woke. Hell, there are even old panels of Batman and Superman telling people to respect other ethnic groups. If that came out today, people would be calling it "woke." You'd see a ton of YouTube videos calling it out, and Twitter would be flooded with posts about how "Batman/Superman are pushing woke views on readers," acting like it's some kind of attack on them. So yeah, comics have been "woke" for decades. They've always tackled social issues, addressing themes of equality, justice, and oppression. It’s nothing new just a natural part of the medium’s history.

I personally think it's one of the more appealing premises of the MCU In recent years, despite what I would agree is an ongoing general slump in quality. I don't agree though that there's anything wrong or low quality about being woke, which is just a word intended to mean 'aware', and which gets misused a lot. It's different from political correctness, which seems to me to be when that awareness of issues is used to shy away from discussion of them rather than to engage.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners, I think Anime series would start to be a good fit for series to start to dip your toes back into, of course tho its always up to you. But Anime series I'm sure as alot of would agree would be a really nice fit for you. Not to mention alot of the compelling storylines, character development, humor & in depth critical analysis
