Not necessarily. The key word is “yet” as in it will be watched in the future. Implying it’s inevitable because it’s so damn good, everyone who likes shows n movies will have to watch it eventually. Literally on the level of breaking bad. Even beats it out on IMDB when it comes to average episode rating.

Speed is a fun movie, but also a dumb movie. That bridge jump scene just ends my suspension of disbelief everytime. But that's typical of 80's action movies, there's always a scene that makes you go "Oh come on! give me a break!"

Like most 80's movies Speed is overrated. Too many people have nostalgia goggles for 80's movies. The defining word for 80's cinema is 'cheese' - imo. This isn't directed at you, Edward. It's just my 80's film rant I need to get off my chest every once in a while that comes from seeing too much 80's worship on reactor channels.

I humbly disagree with that last statement. Even though i'm not a Bond fan, i have seen most Bond films and i know Skyfall was released in the year of Bond's 50th anniversary. It is full of references and homages to previous Bond movies. But i'll give you that it's one of the less bad Bonds. It has at least one memorable action scene. The climax is just stupid, though.

Also Nat. Watch Quantom of Solace before Skyfall.. That's actually the next film in Daniel Craig's movies. And unlike other Bond actors, Daniel's is one concurrent story through all 5 movies. Not just snippets here and there of events. Each movie matters to some extent.

Skyfall isn't just a "James Bond movie". It's just a great movie. With great action and story. It's one of those where regardless if you're a fan of the Bond films i feel like if you're an action film fan you'd enjoy it. There's very little "Bond" things about it honestly.

Feel like both Skyfall and Speed should be watched given how dang close it was. Just a heads up. Hands down Speed is kind of a cheesy movie. Skyfall is an action masterpiece. Not just a "good James Bond film". It's heavily considered in the top 3 Bond films ever. And just a good watch for anyone.

I'm sad to see The Wrestler so far behind in the poll. But my vote goes to Speed. It's one of the best paced action flicks catapulting Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock into stardom with their onscreen chemistry. And one of the best written antagonists in action films.

Never had any interest in The Iron Claw. Black Swan is the better version of The Wrestler. Skyfall is James Bond, so... meh. Speed is one of the very best action movies of the 90s, and the only reason it's not the best is that The Matrix came out in 1999.

I love Speed, good old 90' nostalgia with a fire cast. I really hope Natalie gets around to The Wrestler, it's one of if not the best performances Mickey Rourke has ever done imo. He was nominated for an Oscar for Leading Role, won the BAFTA and Marisa Tomei nominated for Supporting Role at both awards. It's an absolute most watch if you ask me.

These are good films. If you're looking for a good summer rom com film that is a bit older I would suggest watching Splash if you haven't seen it. It has a young Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah as the stars and the late great John Candy. Also, I suggest you don't watch it on Disney Plus, they've cut some scenes out or heavily edited them.

Hey Natalie, hope you’re doing well. These are all good options, but just out of curiosity do you have any interest in watching Black Hawk Down in the future? It’s a Ridley Scott war film about the Battle of Mogadishu fought from October 3-4, 1993. I know war movies can be hard for you, but I personally think it’s a very well made movie everyone should see at least once and is very respectful to the men who fought there. I also have the pleasure of being friends with one of the guys who was there and have met another one who is actually depicted in the movie. I know it’s a bit of an off topic movie for this particular poll, just thought a poll would be the best post to ask. Hope you have a nice day.

Speed is good fun. I'd be down with more James Bond movies too. Most are decent to good. The old Roger Moore movies can be very cheesy, but still worth it. The Wrestler is great but it's a little depressing.

I’m good with any of these, even though The Wrestler is more of an indie low-key film than the rest. Honestly it came down to Skyfall versus Speed but for different reasons. However, Speed is more of an entertainment vehicle from credits to credits. Skyfall has more peaks and valleys, but saves its best stuff for the last third. I’d have to go with Speed for being just a bit better as a film I’d recommend if somebody hadn’t seen yet.
