I only recently saw this for the first time, and idk if it was just hyped up so much, but I found it underwhelming; a lot of waiting for something more to happen. They also followed the wrong protagonist around for most of the movie. I didn’t get it.

I think the these are so so good, but also so overdone in terms of reactions. If you have not seen them yet that’s one thing. Would rather see some reactions to underrated movies/tv series. For instance, The Man from Snowy River out sold Star Wars in Australia, yet I have seen only one reaction to it.

The FF franchise is probably the only example of a series whose best movies were not in the beginning or end, but in the middle. Fast 5-7 had no business being as good as they were considering the rest of these movies.

You could have stopped after "like yes QoS sucks". In the real world people don't have time to watch every crappy thing that comes out in a franchise just so they can enjoy the good bits. There's nothing in QoS that provides truly critical context for Skyfall, the movie works exceedingly well without any supporting homework.

Mission Impossible is one of the greatest action movie franchises ever, but The Matrix Reloaded is also one of the best action movies ever, easily has the best action in the series, which is my favourite blockbuster film franchise. I love Fast and Furious but those movies don’t get great until the 5th one, and while it’s worth getting that far, the first one is just pretty good. Skyfall might be the best Bond movie. The Iron Claw is a movie I’ve wanted to watch for a while and heard great things about. I vote for all of them but I vote for Matrix first, always and forever.

I actually like Legacy, too, as I think it still relays decent info and the performances from Rachel Weisz and Renner are decent. Jason Bourne kinda blows so I’d recommend skipping that one. But Ultimatum is a very good stopping point, the trilogy itself is still strong and definitely worth a watch, Natalie ;)

I think the middle Fast and Furious films are easily the best, but not everybody sticks it out til then. My favourite before that is Tokyo Drift, but the first film is ok too. 2 Fast 2 Furious might make a good drunk reaction lol.

Great Summer Action lineup! The Fast and Furious movies quickly devolve into silliness - but the 1st one is solid fun. So I wouldn't be sorry to see that win. Skyfall is a great James Bond movie, and Craig is still the best Bond ever. Matrix 2 is not as good as the first - but still an AMAZING action movie. Probably the best out of this whole list. Mission Impossible is great, and I think the series just gets better and better. I haven't seen the Iron Claw, but I feel bad for those who want to see it, because against this lineup - it doesn't have much of a chance. Sorry Von Erichs!

Natalie, If you ever end up watching The Matrix 2 (“The Matrix Reloaded”) you should follow that up with a short reaction to the spoof that the MTV music awards did for the opening sequence on the same year Matrix 2 & 3 came out. (2003, it doesn’t spoof Matrix 3 though). “MTV: Reloaded” …just keep in mind I was 16 at the time, so I may have found certain jokes a little funnier lol

Still waiting for Willem Dafoe to play a live action James Bond villain. Speaking of Matrix you could check out Blade (1998) as well, another film with a similar cultural style to The Matrix. Both paving the way for introducing that whole black leather trend in the 2000s.

I think Nat should watch the mission impossible series. Its Tom Cruse excuse to be an adrenaline junky and do all his own stunts combined with stories where even the twists have twists in them. Almost no CGI involved with his stunt work after the 3rd film other than some camera tricks. Id have voted for skyfall but she hasn't even seen the previous film, and Nat is a reactor all about continuity. Would want her to see quantum of solstice first unless she watched it in her own time.
