Also the reason Singed's face is all destroyed is because of Powder. In S1 Act 1, the explosion Powder set of killed Claggor, Milo, ripped off Sevika's arm, and destroyed Singed (the scientist's) labaratory and burnt his skin and face. Singed also created shimmer :) He's the one who was with Silco from the beginning and conducted the experiments with the rat against the cat and later on injected shimmer into Jinx to save her life. So yeah, Viktor has some strange friends haha

I highly recommend watching each act of Arcane in one sitting, the fact that the show is so fast-paced makes it feel smoother that way. Like watching a 2-hour movie.

I mean cait did miss I doubt she was aiming for a finger and 2 imagine seeing someone’s head explode infront of you when your a kid. She would have forever changed that kids life regardless of if she hit her.

Well agreed but they are also very different scenes, I think the song that captures Jinx the best so far is probably "Sucker", "The monster you created" also captures it well but the new one captures her emptieness perfectly I think.

Nat, my favorite thing about Arcane is how much detail and effort the creators had put into it. IMO, In the scene where Cait shoots Jinx's middle finger, it's not only funny but a very good hidden hint of Jinx losing Powder more and more. You see, Jinx paints her nails in a very unique style: Six blue nails (for P.O.W.D.E.R) and Four pink nails (for J.I.N.X) and if you see the finger she got shot, was a blue nail and in some of the posters, she appears covering Vi's face with a prosthetic finger that now has a little detail. And guess what color is it? Pink :) Im so excited to see more people notice this detail and my theory is that the creators will progressively show her nails more and more pink, meaning she's losing Powder and unfortunately embrancing Jinx.

Natalie you missed a few things when you recaped season 1. Ambessa actually tells Mel that her brother is dead. Amara is just a puppet. Ambessa's feud is with someone far dangerous. Thats why she's desperate to get her hands on hextech.

I liked Woodkid's song "Ashes and Blood" song that played through the climax of this episode. However, his song in S1 EP6 during the Powder/Jinx Flare scene, "Guns for Hire" hits harder, and feels to me more Epic.

I love how much you hate Singed (the scientist that comes after the credit scenes). I wish I didn't know about League of Legends because a lot of the stuff they are foreshadowing is already known in League of Legends but exciting to see how you and other reactors react to the expanding and the twists and turn!
