🕑 Added 2023-04-13 20:17:00 +0000 UTCRecently, my patreon stuff has been uploaded to a site that ''archives'' patreon posts. Anybody can post content but they need access to my patreon, making them one of my current ones
I want you all to feel rewarded for supporting me but even my true exclusive stuff is on there for the public view (and download).
What i'm most concerned is that my PSDs are out there and it has happened once that some tried to distribute a fanart sketch i made as a ''Free base''
I've been looking for other options and i've come up with two solutions:
DMS - i will DM you the ''posts'' via DM
Prime leap. - Prime leap is a discord-esque page where i can make a club and anyone here can join on their stay as patrons. I'm not sure how it works but i'd make sure that it's an easy transition.
But more than anything, I'd like to hear you opinions. i'd hate to force my patrons to an extra hurdles JUST to see content.
Would you like to try DMS or prime leap? Would you like to keep everything as is?

just thinknig with this. does the page "archive" all your DMs or just DMs of whoever is the uploader if you know? i would think if its just the uploaders DMs and not all of the DMs you make it might be "easy" to figure out who does it. (granted idk how the DM stuff work on patreon, it might be you doing individual messages or patreon lets you do one mass send)

I would 100% say a discord server is the best way to go. Just include in the post you do there with the same title/text on the patreon post. Like the patreon post would be titled "Dire X Hybrid Pool Party" and the Discord post would have the same text along with all the images, to make it easier for newer patrons to find older stuff in said patreon-exclusive channel. The patreon post could have like a cropped version of the post too.

Alzeaker uses a private server for sketches locked behind a Patreon role and that has stopped scraping. Now things are exclusively posted in that channel.

I mean like the full res image and psd only being posted on discord, or some other way like Google Drive, while Patreon posts are like notifications of posts in those other apps! So full res content and psd files can't be scraped from Patreon since it's on the other apps we'd have access to, maybe set a password for access only given via discord so it's inaccessible from the scraping site without the password

Something you could do But it would take time yes Is upload stuff to Google drive ,mega in packs and sending the link to download it trough DMS

That's a very good idea! however i don't know if that would stop the images from being leaked since what they use is a tool that takes everything from patreon and they would just take the image and psd and post it there maybe?

Maybe a discord server? Here on Patreon could have cropped images, or just the image, while verified discord members get access to high res and/or .psd files. It could also be a place for other patrons to socialize, and for you to communicate with us easier if need be

I have to mention that DMs just make it harder for people to find it but does not eradicate the problem. the page ''archives'' DMs too.
