Greed's Voyage Chapter 3: No War Crimes Without War

The plan was to kill pirates. A simple enough ask really, I would feel no remorse over killing filthy scum of the sea. Unlike what One Piece shows, 90% of the pirates sailing the sea were genuine scum.
They land in villages and towns, pillage everything they have, and maybe take a few young girls to comfort them at sea. No class, no code of conduct. They were outlaws sailing the seas because they were selfish.
...Well I was also selfish, but unlike them, I had some semblance of a moral code. I don't ruin the lives of those undeserving to fuel my own degeneracy.
Now, obviously, I was willing to give these guys a ride over to the Reaper's crib for free but I needed a plan before I started assaulting the unwashed masses.
I heard about some granny in town that she heard the Pirates planned to camp on this shore for five days. They may have the powers of guns but I had the powers of old lady gossip by my side
Before any plan of action, however, I should roll the ticket I got from earning my first paycheck. A Bronze Trait Gacha ticket. I didn't expect much from it but I welcomed a surprise.

Not to be confused with the mystical eyes of charming, instead of hypnotizing people your eyes are just really pretty.
...Now, I am not complaining about becoming prettier and even more affable towards the fairer sex but could you spare a guy some combat traits? I'd like to strike fear into the hearts of those I sail past, not... I don't know cum in their pants upon seeing me.
Still, I looked in the sea again as a reflective surface and damn the trait wasn't lying, those were some pretty eyes, my eyes looked like vibrant amber with almost stars twinkling in them. Kinda like Gojo's eyes but an amber orange.
Good enough from a bronze ticket for sure.
Now, with that out of the way, how do I kill those pirates?
Before any concrete plans, I needed to lay the foundations. Planning without information is planning to get fucked over and disembowelled by unwashed pirates.
I passed by one of those bastards while walking back home and I had to use Gale to push the almost comical stink cloud away from me.
Anyway, I give myself two days to find as much information about them as I can. Then one day to make a plan, then two days to implement the plan.
Alright, you can do this Yuji, you have watched Death Note before, you can pretend to have a big brain and make a big brain plan.
Let's do this.

~2 Days Later - Yuji Libero~
Alright, surprisingly, I was really successful in trying to gain information and practising Gale in my free time.
The pirates slept in the local tavern, practically having taken the place over, I was just glad the owner Owen was able to send his young daughter to the next town over in advance.
They were holding off on pillaging too hard before leaving, but the members of the crew often shook down townspeople for their money. They were basically staying to extort as much as they could from this place.
Their captain was actually a decently strong Pirate with a 200,000 Beri bounty. But mostly due to atrocities, even then the local townspeople have heard the crew talk about him cutting 5 grown men in half with one swing at once enough to believe their claim.
The most important piece of information I had was that they always held parties in the tavern during the evenings, getting wasted and singing songs while harassing some poor wench and taking her.
At first, I thought about poisoning their alcohol but I had no stealth skills and getting caught doing that was instant death, plus even if I did it wouldn't take out all of them and the rest would realize.
Then my next potential plan was just boarding their ship and setting sail with Gale, but that would set their wrath on the poor townspeople and I didn't have the shamelessness to doom the townspeople like that.
Head-on confrontation was a hell no, I would cut in half, the number advantage is too high. They had about 30-ish, a bit small since they lost a good bit of people during their voyage which was why they were staying here in the first place.
But then I came up with a plan, one that I would need some ingenuity with Portable Pharmacy to use with.
Now, back in my old world, people would consider this a "War Crime" and a "Cruel and inhumane execution method." but do you know something about the world of One Piece?
There was no Geneva. So no Geneva Conventions. And no such pesky things as war crimes to hold me down.
So, with one day remaining before my destined showdown, I started experimenting and... getting creative.
You do not want to hear the words "getting creative" from someone with an infinite pharmacy in their hands.
I pulled the bag out of Gacha storage, it looked like a brown leather travel satchel, quite rustic and not eye-catching. It worked by me plunging my hand inside and imagining what I wanted to pull out. I tested it first by pulling out a bottle of Flintstone Vitamins.
I would pop a few of those bad boys before killing the pirates to get the power contained in them.
And then, after I was sure of how it worked. I recalled my time in high school.
You see, back in my high school, some troublemakers got expelled for making chlorine gas in the chemistry bag using Bleach and Cold Packs.
And I was able to pull out both from my Portable Pharmacy.
Hehe.
It took me only 1 hour to be able to consistently create foul pale green gas. Then I spent some time planning on how exactly I was going to take down the pirates. This was definitely feasible. After an entire day of planning I didn't train and rested to be in top condition tomorrow, and tomorrow when it became nightfall I grabbed the revolver from my used-to-be parents' box of belongings. They left a gun at home for self-defence for situations like this.
It looked like a simple old revolver that looked slightly worn but it was more than useable, I wasn't enough of a gun nerd to know what model it actually was. A gun just had to be a gun.
I grabbed it and tucked it into my belt, I knew enough about gun control to not accidentally trigger it so I wasn't exactly scared. Then I grabbed my jug of bleach and plastic cup(Emptied pill bottle) full of Ammonium Nitrate before starting to walk towards the bar, making sure to put my medical mask on my mouth and plastic gloves for protection.
Let's get this show started.

I pushed open the bar door, being greeted with the sight of several pirates dancing around while wildly drinking alcohol, having loud arguments all the while the jukebox in the corner played loud music. The stench of booze, piss and fish clung to the bar, I could see the bartender with slumped shoulders and an expression of fear and apprehension. Jenkins, the young man who works for the bar, there was a large bruise across his cheek.
Among the cheerful atmosphere, nobody paid enough attention to notice me quickly as I walked a bit away from the door before opening the bottle of bleach and started pouring it onto the floor, making sure to space it so that I would get a rather wide puddle.
"HEY! Who t'he fuk' are ye!? How dare ya pour booze on the fuckin' floor!? Wan' me to teach ya a lesson pretti boy!?"
Some pirate slurred his speech as he got up and pointed at me with aggression, to be honest, I would have been surprised if he could have told bleach from booze.
"Yeah sure, just give me a moment."
He didn't care to listen as he shambled over, knife in hand, the rest of his mates and captain watched in amusement as the overweight miserable soggy mess of a man approached me, probably expecting the show of me getting beaten up.
Fsshhhh!!!
"Huh? Wh't the fcuk kinda magik you doin!?"
He looked on in surprise as I spread the white powder all over the puddle of bleach, making the puddle sizzle and foam violently as a ton of green gas poured out, suddenly a current of wind controlled by me picked up the rapidly producing gas and carried it all across the bar in record speed, spreading it everywhere including the nose and mouth of the pirate and approaching me.
"Wh cough! Cough! What th cough!"
"What the fuc- cough!" "B-boss I'm d- cough" "Wheeze!" "Y-you!"
The pirate in front of me dropped to his feet as his eyes teared up and his lungs, eyes and nose burnt, he couldn't take a breath without coughing. Chlorine was bad already, and it was worse when it was being spread properly with even distribution from ideal winds.
That's right, I was propagating death gas with Gale. I heard a symphony of gasps, coughs and wheezes as pirates fell to the ground trying to breathe or wipe their faces to no avail, they tried picking up their guns and blindly firing but nobody could see good enough.
"W-what the fuck is happening?"
Jenkins looked on in fear, of course, I made sure to direct the gas away from him and I. I gave him a shoeing motion and he quickly escaped out of the backdoor, the pirates were too consumed in a haze of pain to try to escape, of course, since I had spread my foul stench I kept my eyes trained on the man with a captain's hat.
"A fu-fuckin' cough devil fruit user!"
"Close enough."
He got up from his seat, or at least tried to but his posture wasn't very steady, he was a 2 meter tall roughly shaven man, and he gripped a large cutlass but with his burning and tearing of his eyes as well as the chlorine reacting with the water in his airways to form acid that burnt him inside out he didn't see me pulling out my revolver and...
Bang!
A bullet tore through the cloud of noxious fumes and struck him in the forehead, my aim was pretty good, mostly thanks to being given a blind target that couldn't dodge.
Bang! Bang!
He slumped to the floor and I shot his forehead twice more. This world has some freakishly durable people, I wasn't taking chances so I shot his forehead twice more, making his grey matter spill across the floor.
I glanced around and saw that the cacophony of coughs had been reduced to quiet wheezes and groans as the pirates started dying. And after a full 3 minutes, there was no noise left.
Giving a double tap by shooting one of the pirates in the side and seeing no one react to the gunshot thanks to being doused for several to my Aerokinetic gas chamber I looked around.

A/N: Is it still a war crime if you aren't using it during wartime? Well that doesn't matter because a new world means a world without Geneva, and no Geneva means no pesky conventions to slow you down! So chemical warfare is A-Ok! What does morality mean when it comes to tickets anyway am I right?
Yuji is a bit ruthless. This is what happens when you give a burnt-out and disillusioned corporate drone with a loose moral code a chance for the adventure of a lifetime. He will take it no matter how many war crimes he has to commit, give a man a dream and he'll do anything to realize it. This will surely be a voyage of a lifetime. I hope you guys like Yuji.

Love the combo, will he end up being known as the Toxic Pirate by combining his wind with various chemicals? Hell he could heal or cure certain things the same way with medicine.

That was an awesome chapter. I love how Yuji solved the problem of superior numbers with the portable pharmacy. This is looking to be an interesting fic. I look forward to more chapters.

He isn't exactly a Yuta type, he is a mix between Hakari and Yuta but leaning more towards Hakari. He is a planner but stealth is not pick. Chlorine Gas happened because it was the best way for a non bulletproof Mc to take them out, I like creative solutions more than dragged out fights.

He won't, maybe unless its really broken but I don't plan on it. There are the traits Counter Curse Mantra and Curse Devouring Physique but I am going to tackle the topic of Curses in One Piece because its still unknown if its just genetics or an actual curse. Some folk will definitely dine on the fruit basket however.

Hahahaha bro that was so easy. I know these are the scrubs of scrubs but it does tell me that this guy might be like another Yuta and be really tricky with his abilities. Good plan with the chlorine gas. Hopefully he gets lucky with that Gold ticket and can turn in the bounty. Maybe some of their weapons can be a little decent too. Good stuff man, can’t wait for more!

Cause unless it is a really op Fruit i can't see any advantage, unless he gain some curse lifting Power in the gatcha, and he needs to get tunder Fruit or cloud Fruit to nami, she Will became soo OP with her weather knowledge
