Chapter 81: Confusing x Courting

I know I am used to getting surprised by life. Unordinary seems to be becoming the norm for me. But even I was, to say the least, absolutely dumbstruck when Serafall Leviathan, one of the Satan's ruling over all of the Underworld, someone who could glass all of Japan in a single spell if she felt like it.
...Teleported into my training room and proposed to me in a sexy wedding dress costume while holding a bouquet.
Looking at the wild SSS-rank Bride Costume Levia-tan in my training room, I sort of blanked. Just staring at her like an alien had come in here and told me that it needed to harvest my balls to save the universe.
"Mou~ a cute girl is proposing to you, and you just sit there and stare blankly? You are terrible with women, Yuta-kun!"
I blinked.
"Excuse me...?"
"You are excused."
I don't know why, but I have the urge to hit her over the head. Maybe I would have done that if I did not basically guarantee breaking my if I went through with it. I rubbed the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes. The closing eyes part was necessary to not get hard at the sight of Serafall dressed like that. Walking doomsday or not, she was hotter than sin.
"Lady Satan Leviathan-"
"Ahem! What were you saying, Yuta-kun?"
My eye twitched.
"You barged into my training house unannounced. I'm not calling you Levia-tan."
She folded her arms and whispered meanie under her breath.
"-So, what are you doing in my humble abode?"
"Asking for your hand in marriage, of course!"
Every single word that poured out of that served to confuse me further, didn't it? Serafall snickered a little at my reaction before coughing into her fist and acting more seriously. Or at least serious as she could while wearing that dammed sexy ass dress, it was impossible to tear away my gaze.
"Sorry, sorry, you are just too cute, Yuta-kun~! Or should I call you Yuta-sama or Lord Leviathan, given your soon-to-be status? Though I wasn't exactly kidding about the marrying me part."
Right, I knew it was about 3 days from my coronation ceremony, where I would be officially crowned as a High Devil, and there I would also become Lord Leviathan due to Devil succession laws.
In order of priority for who becomes the head in case of the untimely death of the original head:
1-Bloodline Ability: You cannot become the head of the family if you do not have the Bloodline Ability and there is a family member who does.
2-Gender: Males are favored above females for inheriting the title due to them having an easier time making children.
There are others, but that should paint a picture as to just how fucked Katrera, my not really family member, was compared to me. She would all but get ripped off her throne by Devil law.
"...You still haven't told me why you were here."
"Well! I came here to help you, of course, get you prepared for this kind of stuff. Normally, Sirzechs would take care of that stuff, seeing as how he is the head of internal affairs and stuff, but he is busy calming everyone after the announcement of us finding the legitimate heir of the Leviathan with the Bloodline Power. Congrats, Yuta-kun, you are viral again!"
To quickly fact check, I had my other body in school taking a shit, pull up my phone to browse Devilnet and uh... yep.
The top search of the year was "Leviathan Heir" and a few spots below that was "Yu-Gi-Oh". I quickly browsed through the Online Boards, and it was all filled with speculations about my existence. How it would shake up the political scene, how excited they were to see if they could witness the original Leviathan ability in person and if I was going to be a hot guy or hot girl.
Classic internet, even in the underworld, it does not change.
"Huh, that's true. I didn't think you guys would actually release that information already."
Serafall held her head up high and smirked proudly.
"It was a calculated move. We already spread rumours about you to prepare the coal, cracked down on the rumours so people got convinced they were true to pour gasoline into the coals and then announced your coronation publicly to throw a match into the prepared gasoline-soaked coals. Impressive, isn't it? I've never seen the underworld this enthusiastic."
Serafall gave a genuine smile.
"Honestly, I thought we would have to do more damage control, but as expected, your existence is like a silver bullet. The Old Satan faction is having internal strife about your existence, but some of the bigwigs are excited to see you. Of course if only to turn you to their side but that's expected. I didn't expect some of the reactions of the new Satan faction, though.
A lot of the members supporting us New Satans are feeling threatened by your existence, which is quite a problem. I cannot imagine the pressure they are putting on poor Sirzechs, being pounded from both sides."
How she described politics felt refreshingly simple actually. The eye candy certainly helped.
"I'd feel bad about causing him so much trouble if it weren't the idea of you guys first to out me for just having the ability and place me on that throne."
Serafall nodded solemnly.
"Yeah... not gonna blame you on that one. By the way, Yuta-kun, you kept your promise to me, right? I know you did, such a good boy. So, could you show me your serpent form? I want to ascertain it one more time before going through with it."
"I feel like you should have asked this long ago, but sure."
What if I had given her a false alarm? But she looked so sure of herself that I couldn't question it much.
I summoned Zoroark to my other body to disguise as me while I unformed the ability to form the Synergy of Sea Serpent of the End using Water Manipulation, Hydrification, Devil Trigger and Natural Weapons. And then I activated the ability, my body seamlessly transformed into a giant sea snake like creature that towered over Serafall, thankfully the training room was absolutely massive to accomodate for the fact that I can punch out entire city blocks so I managed to barely coil in my entire height of several hundred meters and looked down on Serafall, my misty breath falling on her and parting around an invisible barrier.
Serafall had a hand on her chin as she looked me over in silence, making me feel like I had to break the silence, so I spoke. My voice came out like a primordial creature speaking. The room rumbled with an echo of power.
"So, does it live up to the hype? Because it's quite tiring to maintain this form if you don't mind."
She seemed to snap out of her thoughts as she gave me a thumbs-up.
"Yup! That's certainly her snake form, alright! Feels weird to see it without trying to bite me in half. Although you are a bit tiny and your form looks different, anyone can tell you that's her! What a relief."
Getting her acknowledgement, I dropped the serpent form and floated down to the ground with my wings. While I did not feel any body dysmorphia thanks to the abilities being inherent to my existence, I did not enjoy the feeling of not having arms, legs or just anything other than being a long ass scaly tube of pure power and water.
"Good, good. Now, Yuta-kun, let's circle back to the topic of marrying me! I didn't get dressed in this getup for nothing."
I raised my eyebrows; my surprise was very apparent.
"Wait, you weren't joking about that."
Serafall nodded her head.
"Yup, let me explain. You know the divide between the Old Satan faction and the New Satan faction because of their beliefs?"
I nodded, after Sirzech's speech, even I had put in the effort to look up the absolute shitshow that was the politics of the underworld. It was like actual politics but with bloodlines, walking nukes and nobility added in.
"They do not like us being Satan's while the descendants of the Original Satans are alive. They claim we are not legitimate and that the right to rule is a blood right. Thankfully, the new Satan factions eke them out, but they have too many supporters and a lot of old money. But... what if, say... if a True Satan descendant married the current Leviathan?"
Hearing her words, I couldn't help but continue them for her.
"...It would give the New Satans much-needed legitimacy for their rule, especially you, since you would formally be a part of the Leviathan family. You would be both Leviathan in position and title."
Serafall reached over and tussled my hair with a gigawatt smile, making me lean back and my face heat up. She was the first girl I had failed to avoid doing that. She took me off guard.
Unacceptable.
"Bing! But more importantly, if I were pregnant with your child, I'd be Leviathan by blood since. They would not be able to deny me as the Leviathan if I were the mother of the heir of the Leviathan after all. And that would also-"
I stopped her.
"Wait wait wait wait wait. We are moving way too fast. I didn't even agree yet, and you are talking about me making you pregnant. I haven't even done that with my harem yet. And I'm 18 I'm not ready to be a good father. I still have character arcs to go through! And I don't even know you!"
Serafall smirked. Leaning forward and pulling on her sexy bride dress, revealing a bit of nipple. A sultry smile of a woman who knew what she was doing to my hormonal body. A several-century-old master of teasing
"But Yuta-kun, you have to marry and impregnate me for the sake of Devilkind! Any hot-blooded devil would jump at the opportunity! Don't worry about the child, it'd take years to get there, and even then, I could take a few years off work to raise it. Who would pass up the opportunity to add the Magical Girl Levia-tan to their harem!?"
My eyebrow twitched, but I crossed my arms.
"The fact still stands. I don't know you well enough, and I'm not keen on the girl I'm marrying being someone I barely know."
If I was going to marry someone first, it would probably be Rias.
"Ideally, I'd like to know you better first too, Yuta-kun. But this marriage is unfortunately more important than our feelings. Nothing is stopping us from getting to know each other after the wedding, is there?"
She nudged me on the ribs with a sultry smirk.
"I can see it on your face. You cannot deny the appeal of pushing me down and taking my virginity, breaking the bed and floor while you flood me with-"
"Wait, you are a virgin!? I thought you were hundreds-"
"Yuta-kun."
I felt my body tense up, the air instantly dropped several degrees, even if it truly didn't, my soul felt it.
"Let's drop that topic, m'kay?"
It felt like pushing it any further would be a threat to my existence, so I firmly shut my mouth and nodded.
"...Roger that."
Serafall, the social Satan she was, moved past the topic way too quickly and smiled at me.
"So? What do you think about marrying me, Yuta-kun? Or do you think I'm not pretty enough?"
I rubbed my chin.
...The thing is, so many people's lives were at stake. The Devil Population is massive, comparable to humanity. And me marrying the, bedgrugingly admittedly charming and hot Satan would be a massive leap towards their equivalent of fucking world peace.
Would I let my sentimentality get in the way of that?
"I'm not against it."
Serafall smiled and did a little jig.
"Oh?"
I smirked.
"But you have to be the one to explain to my harem personally."
"Oh."
If she was going to make me go through with this marriage, she was going to have to pull her weight.
A/N: Serafall is a goober, but she is a smart and social goober. And now Yuta needs to marry this several-hundred-year-old virgin satan and impregnate her for the future of Devilkind, what a hard and difficult burden to take on.
Navigating the insanity that is the underworld is definitely going to be fun for Yuta. Especially with shit like The Taker, Kakyoin's Blessing and Golden Boy at play. The Underworld is NOT ready for the Lord Leviathan's New Groove. What did you guys think about the Serafall scene and the future? I'd love to know.
Also I tried a new thing with the images so I'd love to hear what you think about them? Should they stay or should I do away with them?

First, the pictures. AWESOME! Please continue with them. They were both cool, and now I have your idea of what Sea Serpent of the End looks like. Much cooler than what I imagined. Second, Serafall. Why in the hell did Yuta not just start with what he said at the end? It's Serafall! I'd have said yes, explain to the harem, then once that is done, break the bed and floor before getting married. Of course I am also a huge Serafall simp, so my opinion is absolutely baised. Lastly, great chapter. It helped give some insight to the Devil politics, as well as showing that the MC is not just simply some horny all the time, jump women if they offer type. He actually was thinking about the ramifications of this marriage. I am eagerly looking forward to how this plays out. Thanks for the awesome story so far. 👍😁

Nah, Sea Serpent of the End is the specific Bloodline ability of the Leviathan family that Katrera doesn't have.

Love the pictures. Is the transformation canon? I haven’t gotten that far into the anime or manga, but is there a character that can transform into their family name myth? Like can someone from the Phoenixes likewise transform into one? What would the Grimory transform into? The Grim Reaper? I suppose destruction, the magic they’re known for, is conceptually close enough to death.

Serafall was on the offensive the whole team but now she doesn’t understand the scrutiny that will come with jumping the line on the whole harem. That’s gonna be a fun chapter to see. I’m also hoping Katarea has a eureka moment and just decides to play ball and jump ship to get into Yuta’s pants. She may be crazy but she’s also crazy hot. Yuta can just fuck the crazy outta her. Also don’t know where the pictures came from but it’s very nice. Maybe we can get some more often? Love the chapter, can’t wait for more!
