I like the idea of Nemona gradually filling Penny up with her stuff either creating a new split personality or slowly overwriting her original one and sort of Nemona-fying her over time (maybe even reflected in the "desktop background" face slowly changing to hers?)

I feel like it would depend on the type of virus, but given Penny's memories got turned into folders, I'd imagine anytning that corrupts/changes/adds contents to folders would have some level of mental effect. Conversely, I'd like to imagine if Nemona herself filled Penny's disk with junk, that'd have a similiar effect - say if she added a whole folder of Nemona's photos with the protag, she might start shipping them, or if Nemona filled her with photos of her Pawmot, she'd end up obsessed with it same way she's with Eevees!

Ah, I'm not usually a fan of dark ends, however even I wonder what would happen if I virus occured, or if there was a mid corrupted thought in the middle of the format, but I can't not enjoy the outcome as is! Fantasticly strange and happy to see it finally put to art.

Outside of her homework folder (and the Pokemon battle related videos she tabs in the background) it's just riddled with spyware and pop-up ads that she never bothers to try and fix cuz eh, it's basically a spare laptop anyway now (and she certainly can't go asking Penny for help, especially when she's been so busy that she hasn't contacted them in a while!)

I'd like to imagine she exclusively uses it for homework and ends up clicking every single virus link so it ends up looking like a grandma's laptop where the browser app has like 20 tabs when you open it and it takes a whole minute to load

And that way it'll end up being a bit of both either way, unless Nemona decides that if she's stuck hiding this wiped laptop from Penny (who's been oddly quiet recently, so far so good?) she may as well use it herself...

Yee, I think splitting it into a more wholesome/lighthearted scenario and a very dark one works well, pleases both crowds~ And I'm happy you caught that! I honestly wasn't sure if it'd be more fun to make Penny into some super high-spec model that'll end up getting little to no use or rubbing it in that her mind takes up so little space... but I figured Nemona would assume the laptop was well used and full of files so the quickness came from the specs~

Wow that turned out great! I love the folders on the desktop being a mix of her skills, interests and hobbies leading into all of it being wiped in the alt version, makes it extra dark highlighting it that way~ It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but if you're gonna go dark for this sort of thing that's a very fun way of doing it! Wonder what sort of scheme a certain evil team is cooking up, and if there's any potential for following up on it :P Also like the potential implications of her factory reset being so quick even if just for the added meanness of her mind being such a tiny amount of data in her computer form lol
