Kingdoms & Warfare Creations
In case you haven’t heard us shouting it from the rooftops, we released the Kingdom & Warfare PDF last month. The community has been truly incredible, making and sharing all manner of incredible creations on our subreddit and Discord to support the supplement:
- ReubenHung#4067 on Discord made this HUGE list of links full of resources for learning and playing warfare. There’s even a new Discord server with pickup warfare games and lessons.
- Are you looking for warfare maps that you can use with a virtual tabletop or print out for your physical table? These users have you covered:
- Weegedor made this simple (but elegant) map for virtual tabletops.
- Fionics made this warfare map using Dungeondraft.
- Vecna_Is_My_Co-Pilot has this gritty neighborhood warfare map and a map for the assault of a walled city.
- g0dxmode made this town defense map (that I personally think would be great to use for one of the battles in the Regent of Bedegar adventure in the book).
- randomnumber46 made this battlefield template for Fantasy Grounds.
- TylerDavis_ created this app that allows you to generate your own warfare maps!
- While you can’t print out this map for use at your table, its awesomeness may inspire you. JakeEkiss did some great work here!
- CaelReader is working on a system for unit attachments: leaders that customize and increase the power of the units they lead.
- Speaking of CaelReader, they also made a template for custom unit cards to make your forces look dope on the field.
- If simple is more your thing, behold these simple custom unit cards from swingsetpark.
- Do you like yugoloths? Then check out these units of yugoloths (unitgoloths) from Njalm.
- The unbeatable Lord_Durok created this form-filled and printer friendly organization party sheet.
- JayPea__ created the Chained Library domain and the Eyeless Centurion unit, bringing the ideas in Cat Evans’ ARCADIA 4 article to life with the Kingdoms & Warfare rules.
- IdiChapp is working on turning the rules found in Kingdoms & Warfare into a strategy game.
- bennoni#4865 on Discord created Storm the Stronghold. This supplement allows you to use the domain and intrigue rules from Kingdoms & Warfare without the warfare, for those groups that love intrigue but aren’t into running their own armies.
Speaking of community, please join me in giving an extra special shoutout to a few of our MCDM contract playtesters: Dig, Pesto Enthusiast, Sonson, and Von Ruski, who, along with invincible Lord Durok, have been teaching a lot of folks how to use the new warfare rules.
