Mini Monday 007 - Feathers the Owlbear
🕑 Added 2025-01-14 06:16:00 +0000 UTCIt's the second Monday of January, so we have a fresh mini to download.
To kick of 2025, we have Feathers the Owlbear. Feathers appears in the MCDM Beastheart, a player class for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.
If you print Feathers out, drop us a line at hello@mcdmproductions.com with a picture or time-lapse and let us know about your setup. We are currently shopping for a new 3d printed for the office and would love to see what sort of results you are having. Jason has strong opinions on the best options, but we'd love to see real world results from the community.
If you are not into printing things yourself, Trenchworx offers resin cast versions on their shop.

I'm super impressed with these STLs. The multi piece models that I've printed fit together extraordinarily well!

I have printed Feathers on an Ender 3 Pro most successfully!

That’s awesome y’all are thinking of getting a resin printer in the office! I love being able to print minis for my game each week! I’m almost done painting Relg to eat my players soon! Whatever you decide to go with remember that the most important is a proper ventilated printer enclosure and post processing area! Be safe and have fun

I realize now that all the minis on Mini Monday will be minis already available in Trenchworx's store, which, as someone who already bought ALL of them, I realize we, people who already did the same as me, may not be the majority ^^

Love Mini Monday! Sadly I rarely find time to paint & print nowadays. But I also researched Resin Printing quite a bit. It is important for me to have great quality details but also not to brittle resin. I found the Phrozen resin printers absolutely great, especially 8k upwards. Their resin is also amazing and can withstand drops from a few meters.

Would be cool if these came with DS stat blocks

Props to the people that modelled and then painted all those feathers 😵💫

Owl sized bear’s just like a little dude, you know? Bear sized owl sounds like the neighbors’ pets are going “missing.”

Owl size bear or bear sized owl?
