Yeah it's unfortunate some of these other films dont get the love they deserve. Ngl, Tangled is just a shallow but playful mash up of the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Snow White.

It looks like Tangled will make it to the end. I'm pretty indifferent towards it. Many of the other movies on this list tackle deeper questions and have far more complex characters. But then tangled has some iconic songs and is pretty fun overall. Oh whale, maybe I'll see it in a new light through Sofie's take on it.

Hercules is my favorite on this list but I think Sofie will enjoy Coco or Tangled the most.

So many good options, but Tangled holds a special place in my heart. Years ago when my chronic pain was at it's worst, I would watch it every day because it was one of the only things that comforted me. I think it's a good choice if you're in the mood for something that gives you that kind of warm feeling.

Princess Mononoke is incredible. I have seen nearly all of the films on this list, and I am noticing the ones getting the most votes tend to be the most heavily-budgeted and marketed, not necessarily the best (even though it's a good selection). While it may not have the name recognition of the others on this list, Mononoke is a subversive, timeless, and beautifully-animated film about humanity's relationship with nature. I genuinely think it's something everybody should watch before they die. Tangled is fun and well-made. But it's standard Disney. You know what I mean? You're always gonna get more votes for Disney because it's so commercial.
