😂 when your inner thoughts accidentally slip “thanks daddy”

My issue with Dexter's writers becomes glaring in this episode. Dexter's Showtime team writes women the way a 15 year old boy views women. Every female is deceitful, irrational, a victim, a bitch or a mixture of everything. Rita isn't stability for Dexter because Dexter can't share anything with Rita. Lila makes Dexter FEEL... Even if you see danger on the horizon with her. She is the forbidden fruit .. I am team Lila for better or worse... That said .. Lila ... Like almost all women in the Showtime series is a stereotype and a one dimensional character. Deb... I am so torn on the Deb character just due to the fact that Jennifer Carpenter absolutely kills it in this role. She is... Perfect .. but as Tom pointed out... Her writing is horrible, unlikable and desperate. I enjoyed this season ... But wait until season 4... It is PEAK Dexter.

This one was chaotic and I loved it 🤣 oo thanks daddy 🤣 I also totally agree about Debra - your perspective has helped me to finally understand her character a lot better, she's more than just "attention-seeking", I've always loved Deb

If you ever get through the entire show and watch the prequel series, you'll find out why they didn't take in Brian. Or I guess someone could just tell you
Charles Brackett
"I love Martha Stewart" is such a guy response to that situation 🤣 🤣

It’s good to know an actual therapist feels the same stress as we do when it comes to the way Deb acts. I understand it more now that its not just her wanting the attention because she wants it, rather all these details in her upbringing that made her like that. But yea tom she needs therapy 😂😂
