The ironic part about chuck’s sense of duty when it comes to the law is that by rejecting working with Jimmy he’s essentially stopped Jimmy from ever being the ethical moral person Chuck wants him to be.

I love BCS and I hope you'll watch all seasons. Its amazing to see the character development of Slipping Jimmy to the Saul Goodman we know from BB. And its going to be one hell of a ride. Its the type of show that gets better each season.

I think when it comes to Chuck and whether he was right, it's VERY important to consider the self-fulfilling prophecy angle. Yes, Jimmy did indeed end up as Slippin Jimmy, again in Breaking Bad. But would that have still happened if Chuck had supported him?

The Charlie hustle nickname is Pete Rose's nickname, which is slightly a backhanded compliment for two reasons: One, because it was originally given to him derisively after needlessly sprinting to first base after a walk. And two, because he ended up getting banned from baseball for life due to gambling. And served time in prison for tax evasion. However I'm sure Howard meant it sincerely, Like the badge of honor Pete Rose considered it to be.
