One of the reasons I like watching Breaking Bad reactions is finding out what people really think of criminals and law enforcement. A lot of times in real life, Americans are very quick to harshly judge suspects/criminals based on headlines/narratives and are just as quick to excuse a violent/corrupt cop(s) simply because of their institutional authority. Cut to people reacting to BB and all of a sudden many see a lot of the criminal's humanity amidst their crimes and a lot of crimes amidst cops' behaviours.

Walt didn't poison Brock to try and kill him. He knew the flower wouldn't kill Brock. He just did it so Jesse could think that Walt did it so Walt could pin the blame on Gus. Jesse would then believe it was Gus which would make Jesse be on board to take Gus out. Jesse would also feel bad for assuming Walt did it and end up feeling like he owes it to Walt to help him and be on his side. It was just a whole ruse of manipulation.

Also, Walter now wears blue to signify his power and his victory. Walt for the first time in a long time feels really good about his position and what he's done. Hence the creepy ending last time, this time and how he treated Saul last episode. Remember this when looking at his actions going forward.

That final scene was cut down. Originally it was very unambiguous that Walt raped her. I doubt you want to see if but it’s in the extended cut

That’s interesting because I always thought Jesse was somewhat of an ambiguous and complex character from the beginning. Jesse failed Walter’s class in high school and is self perceived to be a failure to his own parents as well. These are the three major authoritarian figures in Jesse’s life who he feels he failed most. I believe Jesse thinks his relationship with his parents is unfixable, so he leans into the relationship with Walt. That’s the underlying reason for Jesse’s undying loyalty to Walt. Jesse always felt like he could be of use to Walter which in turn gave himself purpose. He’s constantly trying to prove himself worthy, maybe not even for Walt’s approval but just to prove to himself that he is capable and not a lowlife drug addict who failed high school chemistry.

I remember that during the first season of the show I saw Jesse as rather annoying, superficial, foolish, the comic relief, and that he was written that way, he was meant to be seen that way. Then since "Peekaboo" it was obvious the show decided to make Jesse more complex, more layers to his personality were written, and by "Half-measures" and then by "End Times" and "Face Off" the plight of children and their circumstances will always be a trigger for Jesse. He has become the most human character of all, and his journey and character growth has been heart wrenching.
