We die two deaths. Once when we physically die and two when the last person who remembers us dies. It will be as if you never even existed

I hate that they turned the new lieutenant bonkers right away, she seemed like she was going to be cool and clever at the end of last season. Then immediately it was her going nuts. I wish they had kept the original character traits

Why does Little Chino remind me of Deebo from Friday. 😂

This is the episode the solidified how great Rita is. She only see's the best in people, even her crappy ex. When Dexter confesses to attacking someone and framing them in order to send them to prison, she's just concerned about his addiction issues and wants to help. If I'm being honest with myself, I don't think Dexter deserves someone as sweet and loving as her. But he definitely needs her.

Bless you for thinking he was gaining a conscience LOL

I totally see your point, but I think they scripted this pretty perfectly - Dexter doesn't always do so well on the spot with social interactions, especially emotionally charged ones like that moment. I also don't think Rita would have bought it in that moment, he could see that she had already decided she was correct and just went with it.

I love how it begins with Dexter unable to sleep and ends with him saying "Rest in peace. I am"

The whole Rita/Dexter discussion about him attacking Paul has always driven me nuts. She assumes the drugs are his because he knows how to dose Paul correctly, but Dexter doesn't even think to say, "hey I had premed in college, I work in forensics maybe I know how to does someone correctly'. Don't get me wrong in a great show like Dexter it is a small pet peeve, but I can't help but get bothered every time i rewatch that part.
