It's that time again.

Specifically, I finished the chapter, sat back, looked at it, and it's... fine, but I don't love it. For a few reasons, some of which which are plot related.
More to the point, I've got a much better idea.
So I'm writing the chapter again. Even if it's killing me inside because I was kind of hoping to have this book finished by early to mid January - hence why I'm not taking my normal two week Christmas break - and this is likely going to push that back a week or so. Plus, you know, it's always fun throwing away a few days worth of work.
The question is, ya'll want me to post up the old version even though it's... well, a dud.

I’d like to read your rejects eventually, but could you advise on when it won’t contain spoilers? If it’s just a rewrite of the same plot I’ll wait until the next official chapter is out but if it contains elements you’re saving for months down the line I don’t want to read it till then. Also, at risk of sounding like a broken record, quality over speed.

That's why I said 'reasonable". You deserve a fair amount of downtime considering the sheer amount of work you put in to give us weekly chapters. Take all the time you need. I, for one, will wait however long it takes.
