Exo Fanart

To date 'heavy' exos have been more of a fanon creation than anything else, but these are so cool - and actually work in my mind for the intended role and tech level of the setting - that I definitely want to include them in some capacity in the future.
A sort of more militarily viable alternative to the twenty foot beasts we're currently seeing in the arena.

Beta readers have it at 5000 words. Just under double length, which should hopefully make up for last weeks sick break :D

Glad to hear it and take your time. Delays are only a minor irritant if an author keeps communicating. They only become a real drag if we have no idea why.

Feeling much recovered - thanks for the kind words - and the chapter is long enough that it's ready to go right now. With that said, I think I'll pump out a few more words when I wake up tomorrow before posting it. I really want to get it as close to double length as I can to make up for missing last week. Fear not though, either way it will be out on Friday for once (US Time).

Sorry guys, truly, it feels like defeat, but I'm going to move the chapters release date to this coming Friday. It's currently mostly finished and has been since Saturday, but my brain's on fire and my throat feels like sandpaper. I've been feeling rough all weekend and I just can't seem to pull the finger out and bring myself to finish it. So at this point I'm just going to roll it back and hopefully make the extra time worthwhile once my brain stops melting. Thanks for your patience, sorry for the delay.

The light and medium exos are indeed true to form for the exos shown thus far. That being essentially a suit that's worn rather than piloted.

The light exo was how exos were described. I think riding in a robot leg propelled tank would be much less "natural" moving.
