Rodney the Paladin

[Gazes Up] Ah, yet another person who takes this so seriously. My advice: Take a chill pill my guy, it's not like we've been invaded.

PFC LaPoint

That question isn't nearly as hard to answer as people seem to think it is. On average, there is some level of sexual dimorphism when it comes to height, muscle distribution, blood flow, pain tolerance, and many other attributes. This dimorphism leaves the average biological male with a slight advantage in many of the physical attributes that are valued in soldiering, aside from eyesight, reaction time, and pain tolerance, which skew slightly the other way. That said, the range of innate capability and t he level of training that individuals have undergone leads to a much greater variance than this natural dimorphism. This means that a while a male Olympian may be faster than a female Olympian, the difference between the average soldier of each sex comes down to natural genetic variance and level of training, and is generally a crapshoot, as most women who join the military already trend towards the top end of the bell curve for their gender, whereas male members of the military tend to be spread evenly across the entire curve.

Joshua Flowers

Geez, chill out bro

Reclaimer Bear

Maybe not so much controversial as an uncomfortable answer.

White Neko Knight

Good ole culture clash.

Orion Dye

No sure it’s about that. Though I’m sure certain people are going to see it in that light

Thenais

seems like being conquered by females did nothing to curb machism

TwoRavens

It'll be like a Maus tank from WWII.

TwoRavens

That's just one of them. Add stamina, brutal inventiveness, and our weaponized spite.

Orion Dye

Doubtful, most women respond with horror at the idea that they would have to go out and fight for their lives. Just look at the ERA bill from the 90s. It would have made the draft equal sex, and was struck down by a coalition of both progressive and conservative women’s groups. Just look at history, one of the hardest obstacles the feminist movement had to overcome to get women the vote was the fact that women themselves didn’t want it because they assumed they would have to be conscripted for it, just like men are, and that was and is something most women treat like it’s the same as contracting leprosy. So no, the author can write what he or she wants but it’s pretty obvious the real reason is the Shil recruiters stacked the deck when they recruited.

NeWorlDark

I mean i assume the tanks are spacious for shil'vati size which is absurd for human standards

I should have seen that a mile away. The empire would be a safe haven for a lot of women of the world. Makes you kinda wonder how much sexism do we harbor without really knowing. I am willing to bet that Jason is wrong on the stacking theory. The empire probably recieved a disportional amount of applications from females vs males. Jason is only thinking it's stacked since it's not the norm he is use to on earth.

Nick

At this point I'm just dying to know what they're going to be fighting

"JASON, QUICK, I NEED AN ANSWER FOR ONE OF THE THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL QUESTIONS IN RECENT HUMAN HISTORY, AND I NEED IT NOW!"

Dirk Wallace

Man, I feel bad for any human with claustrophobia considering how humanity's superpower in this universe is loving tight spaces, lol.

Nate D.
