Ngl, i love that you still kept it. It's such a good scene and I remember how much I loved it. I also just found some cash and decided to buy a phone case from ya! I needed to get a new one and decided to settle on the Ren Murder Weapons design- I was genuinely torn between Farz's shirt design, Derek's Scorpion, and this one. But I needed to and had to (also it's the best one that looks best with my phone's type)! <3

Chewing my arm, I had a horrible day so coming to finally see the updates makes me happy! I'm so glad to see a cg for Strade's med-kit!! I'm so excited, I'm so excited that this scene is gonna be expanded on. I adore that this scene is also getting extended bc I love when I get scenes from creators letting me see more of their character's complex personalities. (Also hopefully when I get money I'll be paying for derek merch <3)

No, I don't think the symbols are meant to be a hammer and drill. I honestly can't fully remember but I was looking up symbols and common meanings and I picked the fire and axe for their meanings [ probably something about violence and passion, not sure though LMAO ]

My learning is very much task-based LMAO I have a job I want to complete, and I just google through forums posts, W3C articles, and even pages of my own old code from a decade ago 😂 This method does require existing knowledge of enough syntax to use good search terms though, so when it comes to new things I genuinely know nothing about [ like making music ] I opt for more structured classes There's definitely bad things ahead behind the smirk. My Alpha testers informed me that the ending that image is for is the most upsetting one 😂

I think I would say that I actually do not stay motivated. In terms of that burning excitement that drives people to work on art, I experience very little or none at all during these long projects. It's just not a sustainable thing in my experience Instead, I make it simply routine, and a duty. It's quite literally my job and I do treat it that way- meaning that even if I really don't feel like working on some days, I do anyway [ unless it's sickness or something bad enough to warrant time off, like a regular job ] That's not to say that I don't enjoy making the art- I do. But it's more of a mellow satisfaction of a repetitive trade

I just noticed last night, is the design in the middle of the Strade Cult Tattoo a stylized version of him holding the hammer and drill? With his rank tattoo making up the head and arms? I love that, "That's a very good question!" 😂 Love Strade's camera setup. Such barebones "yeah, this works" compared to Fox. Really highlights the difference between them. I'm imagining sitting there asking Strade why the needle was curved, talking as a way to distract myself from the pain, and Strade being delighted to explain every bit of what he's doing to a captive audience. And while he probably doesn't normally prefer for people to distract themselves from the pain, he's still interested in learning about MC and figuring out how they work, and also I imagine he enjoys explaining things. 💛 (I did look up the answer myself, but I suspect that I wouldn't have easy access to Google it myself if Strade were stitching me up lol)

It's cool that how you update/teach yourself coding even as the years go by. If you don't mind me asking, what specific sources do you use to teach/update yourself? 👀 For me, I have been enjoying the free self-paced classes on Udemy (taking one on existential philosophers right now along with more skill-related ones 😆). There's classes on other types of skills/fields too, and the occasional good sale if you wanna trawl around the site. Anyhow, I am LOVING all of the background work you've been doing. 😁 While I imagine they're sometimes a b*tch to flesh out, just looking at Strade's workshop really makes me wanna poke around and open all his (probably well-organized) drawers. If protag/Ren could act petty and spiteful, I guess they could just rearrange all of his tools just to mess with his head. 😆 Lastly, I just love the angle/expression of the second image. 🤭 Yes, there's probably bad things ahead behind that smirk, but damn if it ain't a sight to see... 🤤

Nope, no solid dates yet because I can't estimate how long the remainder of the art will take with enough accuracy. I also need to compose all the music and build a couple game menus still [ things like a concept art gallery, a page for the music, and even warnings/splash logos for when the game starts up ]
