Here's a direct printout from Lint [ not sure how accurate this is, but it's definitely the best tool I have for answering your question ]: The game contains 5,947 dialogue blocks, containing 44,912 words and 231,421 characters, for an average of 7.6 words and 39 characters per block. The game contains 79 menus, 812 images, and 55 screens. All of my Alpha testers reported that the game feels like it takes longer than the original game to play through. I think a big part of this is because my writing has changed significantly and I took the time to describe and draw more situations than the original. As for the price, it will be the same price as TPOF [ 14.99US ] but that is irrelevant to you since Patreon supporters will be getting game codes for free :)

the amount of work you have done on this so far is absolutely incredible, and the artwork all looks gorgeous, especially Strade's (not that I'm biased at all lol), I was curious, what is the sort of word count that we could expect in the final game, and do you think it will take longer or around the same time as Strade's original route to play through? I'm also curious what the price might end up being? so I can make sure I have the money aside the moment it releases :)

That's pretty hard to answer since it's a text based game and people could technically just click as fast as possible through everything and get an ending in a minute or two 😂 I've been told by my alpha testers that it feels longer than the original version of Strade's path, but it honestly depends a lot on how you play the game. If you wanted to see every single piece of different text for instance, I think that could take a person a very very long time because of how the game is built. But if we're talking about just getting a single ending, then maybe like a half hour...? Even that's hard to estimate because some endings take a lot longer to reach than others.

I didn't create any of the music on my past games, those were a mix of purchased music [ stuff I picked out from library websites ] and work done by Barbatus. Making music myself is something I'm totally brand new to so I'm definitely an amateur- but hopefully I can manage it! There will be great benefits if I can pull it off, like being able to get the exact mood and sound I want, and to be able to distribute the music in an OST however I want since I would hold the full rights to the music :D
