Saturday Update + Credits Update

Which is for the best because I don't have much to say for my Saturday Update unfortunately ^^;
The bad news is that I didn't get any work on the game done last week either. The good news is that I've finished moving. I worked full time on my moving process and now I'm fully moved in and unpacked at my new home :D
Monday was moving day, then the remaining days were spent unpacking, getting my internet hooked up, address change work, and shopping for food+new household items.
I do apologize profusely for the lack of game production over the last two weeks, but I can at least assure you guys that it's finished! I believe I should be able to begin my work on the game audio on Monday after a weekend of rest.
My first day of music work will be spent rewatching a 6 hour lesson video to get reacquainted with the program, and setting up my little electric keyboard I bought/learning how to use that. Then for the rest of the week I'll be diving in and actually making some tracks [ hopefully! ]. So next update I hope to be able to attach some .mp3s to the Patreon update!

This is an in-game screenshot list of everyone who has contributed to the $20 credits tier! If you've pledged $20 to this patreon at any point during production, your name should be here along with how many months you've pledged in that tier.
If your name is missing or you'd like to change how you appear, please comment on this post or send me a DM and I'll fix it for you, no problem!

Hello! I made some changes and I can explain the problem! The currency exchange did not reach $20, it was only $18.50. However, you have paid that amount for 2 months, and I can see you would like to be on the credits. So, I have added you to the credits of the game. I've put you on for one month and refunded what you paid in December, I hope this is an acceptable solution! You will appear normally in the credits from now on but the picture on this blog post will just be a green scribble because taking the big screencap is a lot of work. In the future, if you choose the 'credits' tier instead of entering a custom amount, it should hopefully make sure the currency exchange works properly. Sorry about all the trouble! ^^;

I love that analogy - i know the feeling, we were moved to a temporary home for 6 months a few years back and it was as soon as I got used to it we moved back home. Thank you ^o^ It is very much how I wanted it to be, it's so much nicer and more spacious than my previous home. I admit it's still a difficult adjustment for now though. I feel a bit like a plant that's been repotted, I know I will be so much happier and be able to flourish in the long run but for now some of my roots are broken and the stress has me losing a few leaves haha

I think I would probably feel the same as how I do about when people get tattoos inspired by my work- I just hope people think for a long time before doing it to make sure it's really what they want. The idea of someone doing something rather permanent like that and then hating it later would make me feel sad and guilty.

Thank you! I don't think I would ever do any voice acting things though, I don't really like the idea of assigning real voices to the characters [ and just personally I dislike vocal audio work for weird mental reasons I don't really know how to explain other than it feels 'icky' to me😂 ]

Thank you so much for your kindness! As for the question, I'm not really sure. There are some reasons that I haven't accepted help with translations in the past and they would apply to this situation too [ I would still need to make time to insert the translations and to google translate everything back and read the entire thing to do a basic quality control/peace of mind check+ volunteer situations are always difficult because I can't make promises or be sure people will complete their work if I haven't actually employed them, etc etc ] I'm really just hoping the mod idea works because that would circumvent all those problems [ since no translation would be 'official' I wouldn't have to check them, nor would I need to oversee anyone's work ]

Gato has explained that patreon doesnt keep track too well with all the supporters and how long theyve supported and that if you become a 20$ supporter and then switch back to a cheaper tier that its easy to miss it, so she probably just missed you and will be able to add you there once she sees your comment

WOOOHOOO!!! Proud of you Gato!!! I know I'm glad you are finally moved in and can genuinely just sit and relax. It feels great don't it? Me and my family are supposed to be moving out of state within the year or next year and quite frankly I wanna leave the US in general. It's already felt like a whole 4 months and we only just got to February. If shit don't get better within the next 2 years at most, I'm genuinely, whole heartedly gonna plead sanctuary at the canadian border. But regardless, I'm very happy for you, and look forward to hearing the MP3's! Was also wondering what your opinion would be of hypothetical vocal lines for bonus content if you complete the entire game (like getting all endings, ect), like laughing tracks of strade or ren or something like that. The idea bounced into my head a little bit ago and was curious on what you would think about it.
