I think Spike's speech to Buffy was special and quite inspirational and she needed to hear that, but there has been another who gave her a similar uplifting talk, which was Riley last season. He told her: "Sometimes you're up, you're down. It doesn't change who you are. And you are one hell of a woman."

Wowww. This episode is so so so good! The Spuffy scene is so overwhelming. The words that Spike said were just all that Bufffy needed to hear in that moment. He gave her the strength she needed.
