School of Lust version 0.7.1a is now available to download on the Download Portal to all (level 10+) Patrons. Just on time for the Holidays!
As we explained in the last progress report, the story content is unfortunately not yet ready for release, but it will be worth the wait. We promise (ᵔᴥᵔ)
This release does however include a (in our opinion) very fun new interactive dating scene featuring none other than Natalie. We've developed this dating scene a little different compared to the previous dating scenes. You can now freely change the type of interaction you wish to do. Also, there's a part in the first half of the dating scene that may be a little too much. Please let us know if we went too far (◠﹏◠)
That said, we've realized during our internal testing that the X-ray button within the dating scene is not working correctly. It's because we've added the wrong X-ray animation and asset (it doesn't even include her hole ⊙﹏⊙)! It's too late to change it now, or we would've had to postpone the release again, but we will adjust that as soon as possible.
We're also aware that some of the dating animations still need some extra work as some animations are a little janky. We will improve these over time (considering there are 80 animations for that scene alone). Please let us know if you notice anything else wrong during the dating scene.
We've also fixed a rather critical bug that has been in the game for a VERY long time and no one even noticed(!). The impact of the Effort level wasn't working correctly inside the Hole, so progressing through the Hole was harder than it should've been after upgrading your Effort level.
Another addition that may come in handy is that when interacting with the unlocked memories (torches) on the "Memories" map (which can be accessed from the Computer in the bedroom) they will now present a tip on how to unlock them.
We've also added a Lust Toys scene, a scene featuring Sofia that unlocks after visiting Harfort on a Friday and the start of Flora's "Coochie Walk" scene, which is going to be a substantial quest chain.

As always, we've made sure that the new update is backwards compatible with all save files of prior versions of the game. All you have to do to restore your old saves is to copy/move all the files from within your /www/save folder of the prior version of the game to the same folder inside the new game folder.
If you've lost your save file, you can use the save files from the v0.6 release: https://www.bonergames.com/p/v0.6/save.zip This save file has most of v0.6 memories unlocked. You can change the name of the protagonist by interacting with the computer in the main bedroom and turn futa on/off by interacting with the fortune teller.
Please note that we haven't done any public testing for this release, so we expect no less than 50 zillion bugs as usual ( ಠ ʖ̯ ಠ). I've closed the game and opened again. Apparently it tried to play the class of 4th of Nov on the wrong day. Once I went to class in the next day it worked fine.

Hi, I'm having two isues: 1) I cannot find the eggs for the Wich list 2)After getting the message of completing that portion of the history, I went to class on 3rd of november (Thu), Where Scalert says Sofia is lost again, then the game freezes. Not able to move at all, although the music still works

Let's talk...why are you trying so hard to ignore me? I am aware that I have not been your most polite patreon... but how do you expect me to react when I have paid for more than 3 months and still can't download... You sent me a unique download link... but the downloaded file is corrupted, I tried to download it even with phone or unzip it with the help of other software... but nothing helped. And I've had this problem since the day it was sent to me... and you never gave me an answer... I don't even know if you read the "contact mail" messages... so... please reply and help me ... this only leaves great disgust and a bad image of you...

Hi DJ! The error message you're getting is because at one point you've installed a newer version of NW.js to your computer (which probably came with another game you've installed). NW.js is an engine module that is required to run School of Lust. It is indeed possible that the other version of NW.js on your computer somehow corrupts School of Lust. Although, I have to say that it making your monitor/keyboard shut down does not sound like something NW.js (nor School of Lust) should be able to do. That sounds like a complete other problem (but I could be wrong). But first things first, if you would like to get rid of the NW.js error message, you will have to remove the newer version of NW.js from your user profile. Follow these steps to remove the newer version NW.js: 1. Go to your app data folder in Windows (C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local). If you can't find it, make sure you can see hidden folders. 2. Delete the folder "nwjs". 3. Go inside the folder 'User Data" (so C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\User Data\). Then go inside the folder "Default". 4. Look for the files "Web Data" and "Web Data-journal" and delete these two files. When you start the game again, the error message should be gone now and it should re-generate the nwjs folder and web files with the correct version. Regarding the monitor/keyboard shutting down, can you try checking your Task Manager to see if the game uses too much CPU/GPU or memory? I hope that helps. Cheers =)
Upon downloading and running 7.1a I received an error code while starting up the game which read "Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of NW.js. Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of NW.js." I continued into the game regardless of this message and played. During the event in which I take Natalie home I only get so far in before my monitor shuts down, my Razer keyboard goes dark and I have to completely restart my computer.

Hi Leel! There are currently 2 requirements before you can enter the City: #1: Continue Nicole's questline, which sends you to the City. #2: Play until the third week when "free roaming" starts and you're no longer required to go to Harfort every day. I hope that helps. Cheers =)

Hi Pan! Please make sure to move all the files from your old /www/save folder to your new /www/save folder. If you don't move all you will get an error when trying to load your save files. If that doesn't work, can you please send us your save files so we can look into this? You can just zip your entire /www/save folder and send it as a zip to contact@bonergames.com. Cheers =)

Hey there, I get in to the portal just fine but once in states no content is available. It shows the level I'm at in the portal so I'm not sure why I can't see any links
Is there a guide on how to insert these save files into the new version? ive never done this before. i managed to get the file in the "save" folder but when i run the game the file doesnt reflect in the load screen :(
