Release v0.2.0 - Yui Start
🕑 Added 2024-01-06 02:41:24 +0000 UTCI'm starting off with Yui, simply because I already had some of the induction material ready. I intend to open a poll at some point for the next character, however that won't be until towards the end of the Yui route.
The route can be started by selecting Yui from the available options within the club room at the end of the prologue. In addition to this the scene now has baked lighting, and I've lowered the AA, so it should run a bit quicker on older hardware without any noticeable difference. I'll be looking to add settings for modifying resolution and AA in the next release.
I'm going to be busy for most of January, however with most of the plot-related stuff for the route out of the way I'm hoping to get another release out towards the end of the month.

Sounds nice! just dont overwork yourself :) (though im really happy that this game is still in development, this is the game im most excited to play :D )

yeah, just snowed under with work. I've had to spend longer than I'd have liked on implementing efficient vertex tracking for the higher poly character models. I'm in the process of scripting the chapter, which should take another 2-3 days. Most of the technical aspects of the framework are now implemented, so future chapters should just be a matter of how quickly I can script the content :)

I'm hoping to have the new release done sometime around Sunday - I've been insanely busy this month, but after this weekend I'll have more free time to get work done on future releases :)
