Plans for December - Pick your present

First of
I just want to bring all the different tiers of supporters up to speed since the last few months were bit heavy on the Beta-tester exclusive side.
To reiterate: The Solitude Events have been paused temporarily and I´m gonna do something else for a while to prevent me and you from getting bored. The Mod is in a very playable state however and everything you need for a serious play through is there. Including escape options for Player and NPC´s. With Dialogues and Scenes and all that immersive stuff.
The last poll was held to decide what I´m supposed to until I continue with it or the other biggie, OBH. I only Included options for smaller devices, And the clear winner was:
The two-point Gallow
This came as a bit of a surprise to me, but It was my personal favorite, So I´m not gonna complain.
So this is what I'm going to work on during December. there is the obvious issue with lots of social commitments during that time of the year, So I´m not gonna dare any time estimates.
And on the issue of time estimates, there is something else which might temporarily slow down progress:
After a mere 12 years of service and Steams end of windows 7 support looming on the Horizon, I decided that I really do need a new PC by now.
Assembled it yesterday and to my great joy, it did actually boot up without starting a house fire. But getting used to Windows 11 and migrating all my tools and entertainment software will take some time, So please be patient with me.
Second point
is something I noticed after I announced the break for the Solitude Events. I mentioned the relatively muted response to the Last update for the reason to switch things up and do a new Device before continuing.
This prompted a few responses. All of them containing helpfull suggestions and insights on what different people want to see in these larger mods, but what gave me pause is that some of the comments almost sounded apologetic for not heaping praises on me after an upload.
I just want to clarify that this isn't necessary. I'm happy to see positive responses like this, but ultimately its MY responsibility to keep you entertained. And I´m fully aware that the upload in question didn't present something groundbreakingly new. So I´m just taking this as a personal lesson to do better next time. (And not to work on the same thing for too long)
And Lastly,
While I´m not quite feeling comfortable with releasing OBH or the outdoor Event pack to the wider public just yet. (Missing features and all that) I´m aware that they have been around for quite some time and don't appear to be totally game breaking, So I wanna give all of my supporters on the Enabler and Elector tiers an early Christmas present and release one of these mods to them.

(I kindly ask that the Beta tester who already have these don't completely fuck up the poll).

As of now its a standalone one. Im sure you´ve already seen it on LL. BUt it will very likely get a complete remake one day and get Integrated into deadly furnitures. It has been a poll option a few times, but so far it didnt win.

Hey Pamatronic i wonder will you add to your deadly furniture someday your cruzifx mod or is it a standalone one if i missed it somewhere that you will not add it then i apologize for asking

I won't vote since I'm a "beta tester" and already have access to the content but I thought I'd add a bit of insight into what these mods do to help those who don't already have a strong preference either way. -Outdoor Event Pack adds a prison outcome that has a bespoke scene (variation with a follower) with a variation in outcome depending on the player's actions. It can occur in every hold (except Markath) and has a unique location for each. In terms of content it is probably the more polished and complete of the 2 and is purely additive: it is simply more prison content variety. -Orkish Bounty Hunters is the startup of a larger project Pama wants to do. It is more interactive/emergent in that it can occur during regular adventuring play (if you have a bounty and have the mod turned on/set in mcm). In terms of content it has 1 unique location and 1 short scene (though variation being that it can be player or follower). It definitely feels more like a work in progress and a beginning than a fully completed content addition but the emergent gameplay part leading to a extra way for the player to be jailed is nice and might be exactly what some people want.
