Nice. Maybe you need an RPi and camera donation so you can run Octoprint... but that's probably getting ahead of things.

I currently use AutoCAD 2000 for 3D modeling and MakerBot Desktop for the rendering.

Curious about the first projects, but also what design tools you settle on. I'd make some suggestions, but it's probably way more interesting to sit back and watch. Pretty sure local friends will jump in with their experience anyway...
