Great case skills Fran... that was always the bit I hated as an electronics hobbyist. Love the concept of retro ‘80’s build. You bring back some fond memories for me as a teenager locked away in my bedroom for hours on end on some special project.

Spray adhesive on the back of plain paper?
Maybe it isn't as authentically-retro, but could you make an adapter to use a normal pen with the Leroy stylus?I'm imagining something like a tiny pipe/tube clamp attached to a rod that fits into the pen slot. An possibility: draw the labels on plain paper that works with the Leroy pens, and then laminate that onto a sticky label.
