I was going to ask if one could turn shellac records into wood finish but a quick google search says it can be done. Not that I'm going to dunk any records into alcohol, what would I drink??

My sister was 12 years older than me, and when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old, she bought one of those new 33 RPM vinyl records, with a big label declaring it to be "Un-breakable". I asked her what that meant, She said it meant it couldn't be broken. We argued back and forth... and yep, you can guess what happened. I threw it down vertically from the top of my bunk bed, and wham... I was right. My butt was sore for days afterward.

Not ridicules - at 59 Y/O it brings back memories of my grandfather and 78s of Beethoven played on a wind up phonograph with a barrel cactus quill as a stylus. Thank you!!
Love the performance at the end - sounds better than I expected. Thank you for the history lesson.
