This morning I listened to Armistead Maupin read a chapter from his book "Mona of the Manor" live from his home in London, while I was mourning the loss of one of my heroes, cartoonist Howard Cruse, from cancer one year ago today. Now I'm waiting for a lava lamp to begin percolating, provided by Fran Blanche, another hero. An extraordinary Thanksgiving during extraordinary times.

Was just watching 'Thanksgiving with the Kranzes' again :)
