Real Flight
🕑 Added 2020-03-12 03:41:36 +0000 UTCTake a trip with me! In this video Howard Cooper of Tailwinds Flight Education shows us his Cessna 172, and we go through a thorough pre-flight check, he describes the controls and instruments in the aircraft, we perform taxiing through the airport, talk to air traffic control, and take off on a non-stop flight from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport to Wilmington Airport in Delaware for a quick touch-and-go and return to Northeast Philadelphia Airport in real time - and complete with mission audio. This is as real as it gets - and I hope you enjoy this half as much as I did!

Do you miss your cat in times like this?

Thanks for the video. I've always wondered about the real nitty gritty of how you record everything on an intercom like that. What did you use?

That was great. Thanks Fran and Howard.

Nice to watch in full screen.
This takes me back. Haven't been in a 172 in decades.

I'd love to learn to fly, but I have difficulty in doing one thing at once, never mind three things.

Thank you both! I knew several bits and pieces of getting a plane from the ground to the air and back down... seeing it all put together in a complete sequence really makes the difference.
What a great teacher!
