That was great fun and I completely agree with your sentiments re hand-drawing and hand-cranking. Adding a second gear would be diffiult because its axis would need to thread through where the cards are, but maybe you could mount it outside the back of the box and use a rubber band belt-drive between it and the hand crank gearwheel? You could make your next vid using this technology instead of a digicam - although you'd need one of these kits for every second of vid. And then the same again with 25 frames each for your Euro Franfans like me!

That's dedication! It's just like those alarm clocks in the 70s that had those same kind of flap halves that flipped every minute to reveal a new number. It's great when you deviate from electronics and just do something artistic for a change of pace. But, as usual, it's display technology. A lot of fun and kind of relaxing. Thanks!
