The outfit is based off Arthur's original designs in his Christmas Special sketches. If he based it off that cartoon, I cannot say for sure.

I got a dumb question is the outfit inspired by the cartoon grandma got run over by a reindeer? Or at least the color scheme is really close to what the Aunt had on

I was unsure if I should have Lalia dress skimpy for this, considering the weather. But, then again, she's a form-over-function kind of gal, which really settled it.

Nope. Arthur pretty much gave me the reins for this one. Servings 1 and 6 contain a couple references to old Arthur sketches and Serving 8 is almost entirely comprised of recycled concepts from his original version of CAATS. Aside from that, and authorizing the story for this Christmas Special, that's been the extent on his involvement.

Lalia chose the smallest and less padded clothes possible to do her Christmas shopping in. No wonder she's bursting out of them. Her belly isn't big or heavy enough to make her fall toward the ground, so we get a lovely belly hang instead.

Awright, awright, I try to save my comments for the proper release, but this might be one of the best pages since you've begun. Everything about it, from the posing and plentifully and lovingly drawn bellies, to Jane's general suffering, just oozes that classic CC charm. Would I be right in assuming Arthur had a direct hand in this?
