Taking A Breather

I have to take some time off the YouTubes to recharge. Partially because I am nursing a shoulder injury that has put me out of commission for doing anything laborious, and also that the feedback on the channel is putting me in my place big time, relaying to me that my content is sub par and I am whining too much and such. I have to work out some new ways of bringing in cash so that I can toss the ad revenue out of the equation and free up time to do better content less frequently. I honestly do not know how I will do that, but simply beating the horse will not make it go any faster. And my energy is spent, so continuing on doing it this way is not helping anyone. It may very well be the case that at least for a couple more years I may have no choice but to do the every-day-video scenario and squeeze the platform for all the measly revenue I can get out of it, but it is the lowest paying part of this whole big heavy job and I am not having any fun. I need time to work on solutions and see what I can come up with.
June will be my fundraising month and I am planning on some special offerings to generate funding for the next 6 months and I will have more on those projects in weeks to come. Stay tuned....

My approach has been, When I get a cost of living raise, Fran gets one as well. Also, I’d be happy to buy items and services that Fran licenses to third parties. Thinking of thing like the tools Fran uses. Perhaps some high quality can make a Fran edition of lasers, calipers, multi meters, soldering irons, and perhaps kits that she have found to be enlightening. I get vacations in my job, so I expect pay for Fran’s vacations through my Patreon donations. I’m not her boss, but I’m a friendly investor and part of that is ensuring that Fran in happy and healthy so she can positively impact the most people with her insights and wisdom. I’ll donate more in Patreon to help make Fran the best she wants to be. Please consider the same.

Take care of the shoulder. If Adsense revenue is the smallest part of your income then it doesn't make sense to work your arse off daily for it. And if you ain't having fun, then that sounds like decision made. Hit me up privately if you like for brainstorming potential solutions. My biggest income stream is product sales, and I'm seriously considering hiring a merch manager to take care of it all and improve it.
