Everything is pay to play now. We create content and then pay to promote it. Sucks, but inevitable.

Your not the only content creator that has been cut! Remember YouTube is just another corporation mining people! There executive staff believe they are special people! We the people paid for these assets then they were given away! Amazon received billions. Do your best Fran! I’m hoping government collapses and those actors have to go find a job!

One idea for the merch store might be iron-on stickers - easy to mail out in a cardboard-backed envelope. I'm looking into buying a Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut shapes out, make short run stickers, iron-on stickers, etc.

One channel I watch does shorts by excerpting from the main video and linking the main video in the description. I guess that's to appease the algorithm, because it's a useless extra click for me as a viewer.

I made a video about a year ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlYl-yZ2OR0) and decided to try to promote it. Mainly trying to figure out how this all works. I left comments on related videos with a link and tried a Google promotion/campaign. Hundreds of dollars later there were some views. I was surprised at the cost. But it was immediately clear to me that YT can just not circulate your videos unless you pay.
