Il have an adjustable dc power supply I made in the late 80s using one of those Archer cases. It still comes in handy sometimes.

Back when I first got started in electronics, I couldn't afford cases because I had 2 little children and a huge mortgage. I would scrounge around and make use of any pre-used box, including those black, flat video-cassette tape boxes. I also have a project box collection Fran, but nowhere as lovely as yours is. BFN.
