Maybe you've covered this before, but the energy costs for training the LLM AIs / performing an AI-enabled search are what's currently horrifying to me. Google's carbon emissions are reportedly going through the roof. One day maybe they will succeed, and the general-purpose AI[s] will explore the universe on its own... May we make a favorable treaty with it. The current LLM AI Push ... I just see as a horrible anti-patern.. Making more work fixing its mistakes than doing it yourself the first time... The only thing it sort of succeeds at is filtering the SEO mess on any internet search... and that was a human made problem in the search of ad revenue. So it may seed an idea.. but if you really want your creative work to have your creative input.. you need to do it yourself.
