Aging Realistically
🕑 Added 2024-09-30 13:38:44 +0000 UTCI was going to title this one "Aging Disgracefully" but then I thought that it was a bit too mean. Honestly, anyone should do what they want - I'm just sad that so many women want to be on the Muppet Show... not as a guest, but as a cast member.

I can't stand it either, whether it's young women getting lip fillers that make them look like they got stung in the face by a bee, or older women getting "Muppet face" work done, it all looks so much worse to me than just aging like a normal human being.

You hit the nail on the head with this one Fran. It seems to be an American cultural dynamic. Films from the UK (and elsewhere) feature casts that reflect the society, warts and all, rather than projecting images of youth and beauty, although over time they seem to be going the way of the US film industry.
