In the 60s I used my bedroom as a darkroom. Used black plastic sheeting to cover the window.

Ah, nostalgia. I had a Praktica in the early 60s. All manual but with a built in light meter. Standard 50mm lens, but I did get a zoom later. Kind of wish I still had it.

I used to have a Soviet slr from 1984. The Soviet film must, have been more robust, because it was very difficult to get it to feed"" correctly with modern 35mm film
